Full respect to Ormonde. He deserves some peace from these idiots. They don't respect his space, and even when he has attempted to nip, they have returned to his space again. Even though he can nip it's probably not good for him though over time, in himself, it's degrading for a horse. He's doing what works to protect his space. He seems to be ok with people about 6ft away.

Hi John I am from the USA and I am fairly new to your channel. I just wanted to tell you that I think it is rather amazing how respectful you are when you are educating people on how to be respectful to the working military when they are standing at their posts and guarding horse guards. My grandfather fought in the Korean war in both the army and the Navy and I am proud of his service I am extremely proud of his service that I have a tattoo on my arm and remembrance of his service. And it breaks my heart when in any country somebody can look at a member of the military doing their job and stand there and laugh at them and make fun of them. So thank you for doing what you do and also thank you for educating those who don't understand the small courtesies that you should give to the military when they are doing their job. Also just to let you know I am a total fan of your channel and I absolutely love Ormonde. Favorite horse hands down

Ormonde always gives fair warning. Tourists choose to ignore both the signs and Ormonde. His ears say it all. People should learn the body language of a horse. Flat back ears mean anger. His are often sideways but partially back signaling he is annoyed already just standing there. Foolish to get close to a horse that is saying "stay away." They do it anyway and he pins his ears back and bites. I think he is a neat horse and deserves respect. He is a soldier after all!

I love this horse. He stands perfectly still, never carries on, just doing his job. Then an unsuspecting tourist comes along, and he lets them know this is his turf. I picture him in the stable seeing another horse come in from having a bad moment, and I envision Ormande saying oh, pick me, pick me. I'll take the rest of the shift.

He lives in Britain. He lives in Manchester. But the same with other religious groups, they stick to their own. Own community, own dress, own religion, own shops, own place of worship. Language, culture etc etc

People worldwide are generally peace loving Very few countries have ceremonial, celebratory or Remembrance military parades without a big showing of the military weapons, transport and other military equipment but our parades etc. are mainly ceremonial and I I don't think anyone else does celebratory military parafes and shows like the British do. Many regular events have been happening for hundreds of years. I believe the ceremonial parade of Knights of the Garter has been around for more than 700 years.

Ask them how they would feel if someone was making fun of their Rabbi, someone who deserves respect in the community.....

And the horse never moved a centimetre to make contact!! 😁
