All the molave trees that time was harvested to the mountains during that time by local laborers to use some materials. 😊

Now I fully understand the term oro plata mata. Before I only heard it from my lolo and lola. But I don't understand their explanation because it's spanish. Actually, my grandparents had a book about that, they said it's a guide when you build a house. Para tuloy2* daw ang swerte. Liked the position of doors - bawal daw magkaharap ang dalawang doors kasi tuloy2* din daw ang labas ng swerte..... sana nandoon pa yong book na yon.. kaso Spanish ang sulat hindi ko pa din pala maiintimdihan😊😊😅😂.

One striking feature of this house is the wall decorated in simple vertical wooden batten looks more Japanese in style the simplicity of it's interior the Ambasador Sala set or sofa looks like art deco in style and the Chandelier as well

That's a lovely house! It's always good to see a well-preserved heritage house. It looks like the tourism staff have been very kind and accommodating to you, Mr. Fern! I hope more local governments and conservation enthusiasts will invite you to feature their towns and heritage buildings. Just a couple of observations. 1) Extendable dining tables are quite very common, even now.; 2) that's not a "mesa altar," that's an antique buffet table (google it 🙂). My grandmother has one in her dining room.

Another beautiful ancestral home but just an opinion, you should ditch the historian...lol, his description of the house is pretty obvious & didn't need to be elaborated, like he's lost of words most of the time.
