The behind the scenes of this movie is so fun and interesting on how they made her look young again and not by using CGI which I love and some of the other cast had to wear platform shoes to make her appear to be smaller! I can’t wait for the next one 🖤

"Oh, it's just doing the same things the first one is doing. Going exactly where we thought it was going-" *TWIST HAPPENS!* "...wait, WHAT???" O_O!!! The twist was EVERYTHING in this film and made complete sense! OH, and it did hit theaters for a little while. I watched it there. But it went to Paramount+ very quickly making it's theater run very quick unfortunately. =(

The twist in this movie is so good. She was probably about 24 or 25 irl and everyone had to wear platform shoes so she could appear shorter.

I just abruptly dropped everything & clicked so fast 😂 and it's an hour long? Gonna need some snacks for this one! **edit** 13:56 you're absolutely right! This movie was made over a decade after the original, so they used body doubles & the other actors wore lifts.

for this movie, isabelle furman was 23. they still wanted to use her as esther, so they used tricks like certain camera angles, child actor stand ins, and chunky tall boots for the co-stars. she’s not actually that tall lol.

No, this movie played theatrically. I saw it here in Oklahoma City and it played for a week or two. Now, it was a very limited theatrical run across America but it did shockingly well considering the few amount of theaters it was in. The ending of this movie was an alternate ending for the first movie. I don't mean they used the footage; they just used the general concept and redid it for this movie. And honestly, it's the ending they should have went with in the first movie because they really shot themselves in the foot there. Isabelle Fuhrman was 25 when she made this movie. And for the record, it's no contest-- "Orphan: First Kill" is far and away better than "Orphan" was.
