The Orpheum Theater has original seats, from 1929, in the balcony. The seats are a little smaller, because people were smaller in 1929!! On the main floor, the seats are from 1997, and are made a little bigger!! I love the Orpheim!!! It’s just a beautiful theater!

The Orpheum Theatre is a 1,364-seat theater in downtown Phoenix. This venue was originally used for vaudeville acts as part of the nationwide Orpheum Circuit. Construction began in 1927 and was completed in 1929.

Hi Ernesto!! You’re so kind to do the research!!! The original construction cost $750,00 and the restoration in ‘97 was 14 1/2 Million!!! :)
