Gorgeous ...thank you so much for your magic tool...since one year now there is always a giant vertical highway pillar in the middle of the city of Antwerp, Belgium after the tile is created...hopefully I can solve this now,by diving a little more in to how everything works.

Bonjour Oscar Pilote; Je débute sur X-Plane. A ce titre j'aurais besoin de vos compétences si vous le voulez bien. Mon anglais n'est pas excellent et je ne comprends pas grand chose quant à vos 3 tuto sur Ortho4XP. Je le regrette. J'ai un problème. Lorsque je crée une tuile, une fois que tout est terminé. La tuile n'apparait pas lorsque j'ouvre à nouveau le logiciel pour créer une autre tuile. Le rectangle jaune n'est plus présent Il a disparue. C'est très gênant car je ne sais plus quelles tuiles j'ai déjà créées. J'ai ce problème depuis 2 jours. J'ai du toucher un choix sans m'en rendre compte. Pouvez vous m'orienter vers la solution s'il vous plait. J'ai regarder plusieurs tutos sans trouver la réponse à mon problème. Je vous en remercie infiniment. Pour les 2 premières tuiles qui par chance n'ont pas disparues j'ai un code avec une lettre et un nombre. Je ne sais pas ce que c'est. Bien cordialement

hi, love your prog but can you tell me why if we used fset in fsx we could get really sharp images even down to flying below 300 feet whereas with xp11 the ground starts tu blur under 1000 feet in both cases using the same images from google. is it possible to modify ortho so the images stay sharper lower?

It's nice to see you making tutorials for this. Knowing everything about the application certainly makes for more useful information to relay :P Nicely done. I have a quick question. I've been using Ortho4xp for a number of years now, but since upgrading to 1.30, i've experienced an issue where the application will stop download maps in the final step and instead says that it can't connect to the server. I thought at one point that it perhaps the map source having an issue (BING) but I tried a number of other sources too with the same result. The interesting thing is that it happens at exactly the same place every single time, regardless of the map source. I have also noticed that all my network traffic on my PC just stalls for a while... around 30 seconds... before working again. When it does come back, the map textures start to download again for about a minute and then it stalls. This keep happening throughout the process and it take forever to build a tile that's 80% water :P I can confirm that it's not my internet connection or network card/cable and I have tested them all with other devices/PCs. I can also confirm that this is the only application on my system that seems to cause this issue. It's could be something random happening in windows 10, perhaps. But why just for this? I was wondering if you had heard of this before at all? Any insight here would be most useful... or if perhaps anyone else in this comments section has experienced this and knows how to solve it, that would be useful too :)

sorry..but when I downloaded the ortho4XP for Mac file I can not see inside the yOrtho4XP_ Overlays folders .....what should I do? thank´s and your tutorials are really helpful......

How do I include surrounding ocean like in the Bahamas? Only water next to the beaches show up.

Great great software but the only bad thing with Ortho is slopped runway are gone :( is it a way to make them slopped?

The install instructions on the github says windows Users just need to use the binaries... but I can't find those binaries anywhere! May someone please post the link to download?

Are taxiways and runway info retrieved from x-plane? or OSM? i.e. If I install a new airport should I regen the tile so the new taxiways are handled?

Oscar Pilote thanks for this, does this work on any area? do i have to install global scenery before it can work? (example for areas with water do i have to install global scenery first or when i generate a mesh out of it will be fine? )
