@@deweylee2449 : Honestly, if I were Steve, I'd use the rusty wheel as a spare for Orwell. Get a second rim that can be used as a steer wheel, and Steve could essentially have spares that he could throw on if a tire goes out on him. Only thing is, a steer tire is different than a drive tire, in terms of air pressure and tread, due to the weight each type of tire has to support.

Steve i'm an (RET) Ol School Trucker Class of '' 82 ''. I've been a subscriber since day one . I have truly enjoyed your channel as much as watching movies on TV. I fell for that chevrolet impala that you used to dive at the old shop. Orwell then took the spotlight and your videos became the best ever. I'm among the main ones that complained about that rusty rim. Man you keep putting out those great videos and stay safe & blessed. Truck running and looking good. From '' Bonecrusher '' and friends from Richmond, VA. You run hard like we did back in the 80's. Hammer Down.

Paint the hubs up nice, Blue to match truck, then put chrome nut covers on lug nuts and axle bolts. Don't see to many like that.

Yeeeeessssss!!!! I brought this up like 6 months ago!! I even mentioned we as "Subscribers" could donate $1.00 a pc to get Orwell some new wheels!!! Orwell is looking muuuuuch better now!!! Congrats on the new wheels!!! 🎉😊 If by chance you do read this, there's an LED Headlight company called J.W. Speaker that makes awesome headlights that are bolt in replacements to those old sealed beam lights Orwell has. There made in Wisconsin, and come with a Lifetime Warranty. They are a million times better, brighter and cut thru bad weather like nothing I've ever experienced before!!! D.O.T Legal and all. I replaced the lights on my old school Datsun Z car and Wow!!! They even have special headlights for motorcycles that "turns" the light as the bike leans to either side!

Steve, I had no opinion about the rusty wheel. However, I love the fact you recorded taking the tires off the old rims and putting the tires on the new rims by hand. Because not a lot people know what goes into that, and it brought back memories of me when I was a kid in the 1990s, watching my grandfather do steelies by hand for a farm wagon we used to pull brush in.

I drove by your yard today and was blinded by a light brighter than the sun. I pulled in the yard and saw you finally replaced those crusty rear wheels. Finally. Those aluminum wheels are an amazing upgrade to Orwell. I saw that somebody spent a lot of time polishing those babies. Looks great.

You speak truth brother. I remember trucking in cabover Kenworth day cab and cabover Freightliner sleeper both with no power steering. I just loved trucking. Taught by my father. Love that Pete you have. Good channel.

OMG! Orwell looks so gooood. Definitely put the chrome center caps on it. It completes the look. As my dad, who drove for 52 years and over 6 million miles, always said, not completing the look is like wearing brogans with a $2,000 suit.

Steve, I had grown fond of Orwell's 3 grey + 1 rusty drive wheels over the years. Yeah, I always seem to swim against the current. That being said, Orwell looks awesome and deserves that shiny upgrade. Hopefully there will be more upgrades to come! I like the idea of painted axle hubs over chrome covers.

@@16480287 That’s also called doing only what you can afford….😂🤣 If you have to worry about what it costs, then you can’t afford it…Steve incorporates all his expenses into his business, therefore FSC trucking along with KZfaq pays for all his business expenses….not his paycheck. Steve’s main motto is Old School Trucking.

Those new wheels on the drives look great boys and girls. Take that rusty original, get T-shirts made, then auction it off to one lucky subscriber to help offset the cost of the Pete wheels.
