This is a mix based on the music script for the campaign boss fight with Oryx, the Taken King. Tracks used are Regicide and Last Stand. So happy I have an excuse to use this screenshot again as well as an excuse to use a shorter mix of Last Stand.

There isnt enough praise out there for C Paul Johnson. He's responsible for many iconic Destiny tracks such as Regicide and Cabal Stomp. Miss his work on Destiny so much.

Lightfall had a lot of Cabal Stomp leitmotifs so at least they're still acknowledging him and his work ingame.

So are you planning to release mixes of the D1 raid bosses? Or will it be just D2?

Honestly there really isn't a lot of actually unique mixes for D1 raid encounters that aren't too simple or literally no different from the actual things. That being said, one more D1 one is planned.

I remember viewing this video back when it was first uploaded, and when the timestamps/chapters were removed. With them being active again, I am curious if those chapters are there for these videos temporarily or permanently?

having two hive god corpses, one of which is still partially alive and the other can be revived at any time if her ghost gets within 3 meters of her, stored and kept in facilities for research and experimentation is probaabbbllyyy a horrible idea that could very easily backfire

Hey promethean, do you remember the video you uploaded of a d1 track with a taken captain in the thumbnail? It had a ketch that was partially swallowed up by a blight. I don't remember the name, and I know that this much information isn't particularly descriptive, but I really miss that track, but I can't seem to recall the name at all. Even if you don't plan on uploading the track again, I'm hoping you might at least remember what track it was so that I could look it up elsewhere?

I hope Xivu Arath gets a fight comparable to Oryx. As for the Witness, I am dubious as to if we'll even fight them. :/

@@Archon3960 Oh that’d be something. Im already guessing once we break into it’s spire and halt its corruption of the Traveler it’s just gonna turn into a giant Subjugator.

@@Mr-Moron Unrelated, but I wonder if Subjugators are linked to Rhulk as Tormentors seemed to be with Nezarec. Too bad Bungie never expanded on this. :/ As for a "Witness fight", I wonder if the Witness isn't going to turn into the final dungeon as a result of the Final Shape. We'd have to fight the entire dungeon instead of just one guy. That, or we'd enter them to destroy their core, as the Witness is a Hive Mind of sorts. As for Xivu, I want the fight to be as Metal as possible. She speaks entirely in CAPS LOCKED after all. x)

@@Archon3960 They did. The Tormentors are essentially fragments of Nezarec’s being after he was killed. I assume the same for Subjugators.

@@Archon3960 That's some straight up Contra shit right there! I say that we fight The Witness in the campaign, and we "kill" it... Then when we think it's over, it suddenly rises up, and reveals itself to be this colossal sized alien, and we go inside it's massive body, revealing itself to be this nightmare world we have to traverse to get to it's heart, ending with us facing the true identity of The Witness inside itself. Then, when we kill it, everything around us starts collapsing, and we have to escape with our lives. And once we're back outside, thinking it's all over... *_BOOM!_* The Witness is back again, but now in a weakened state, but with enough strength to keep fighting us!
