Very nice performing engine

Hi David. I’ve just bought a second hand one. I can get top end really well and mid throttle but soon as I come to idle she won’t sit there for more than 5-10 seconds before quitting. What’s really strange is the low speed needle has to be wound out 5 turns just to get her to run average (still have problem quitting at low RPM). No hesitation or problems transitioning from 0-100% throttle. Any ideas. ?

David, Would you happen to have a 91 surpass head laying around? (Not the newer surpass II) I have a damaged engine that Id love to bring back to life but the heads are not available anywhere. Thanks
