Imma keep it real. 4th battalion chow hall was the best fucking chow i’ve ever had lmfao. 2nd/3rd battalion chow hall always constantly ran out of food and was pretty crappy.

@@InternetExterminator It was best on the Depot back in the late '90's when I was there as permanent personnel. Weapons was good too, but 4th BN was more consistent.

Lol I went to bootcamp with him last year his nickname was “too tall” he’s so tall but that makes him weak and slow which sadly was what it looked like. He ended up not making it but I’m glad I found him Back at it again

Receiving week was a bitch the 78 hours u are not sleeping. U make stamps, fill out paperwork about ur kin, and get ur gear! After the first 78 hour u go to the moment of truth. Once the moment of truth is done the next day u do ur ist. Then Friday u get ur actual drill instructors

He's a recruit, not a Marine. Hopefully for him he'll be a Marine by the end of September, or early October. But sure enough he was really tall.

Get ready, as far as physical conditioning, run, belly crunches and pull ups. One more thing, DO NOT look into the eyes of the Drill Instructor. Look at their forehead. Good luck and someday you can say, Semper Fi and feel the pride the rest of your life. I went to boot camp Oct-Dec73 Plt 395, India Co, 3rd Bn, Parris Island.

Based on the Spanish moss in the tree in the background, and the brick buildings, I'm sure this is Parris Island. MCRD San Diego has yellow Spanish Revival buildings.

I am sorry no female DI would do nothing but piss me off with that annoying screaming I went to boot camp in 85 Lima Co 3rdRtR San Diego when the bus pulled up to the old receiving barracks a buffed out dark green DI jumped on the bus and commenced now that put the fear of god in me especially when he smacked a kid at that time I don’t know about now they still grabbed pushed and gave you little love taps mostly the love taps happened up at Pendleton the range or RFTD I have no problems with females in the Marine Corps but they should have kept them at PI not ship them to San Diego for their political crap Marine Veteran 3rd Battalion Lima Company then 3/1st Marines
