And De La Hoya deserved the win against Trinidad, and many (including myself) thought he bested Mosley in the second fight. For such a high-profile money draw, Vegas sure had a propensity for screwing him in a couple of fights. Then again, there are a lot of boxing experts who felt Pernell Whitaker and Ike Quartey arguably beat De La Hoya.

Oscar fought everyone. Was robbed against Trinidad. Maybe even outpointed Floyd. Past his prime fought and won a grudge match against Vargas , who many people thought would beat him. WAS WAY too small to challenge Hopkins and still did. Oscar gave the world the great fights EVERYTIME. RESPECT💪❤️

People forget Oscar came down the weight classes for Manny who went up in weight & was the younger, fresher fighter, it just proved too much in the end 💯👍🇬🇧

That's cause Manny was too fast he afraid to throw punch as he would miss and Manny would attach again., just could not handle Mannya speed so he Ws a frozen like a deer on a headlight n gave up afterwards as he Delahoya had no answer., #peace #respect

De La Hoya was a hollow shell of himself vs Mayweather and worse vs Pac. DeLa Hoya was a warrior who elevated the whole sport of boxing. As a fighter, he deserves accolades and respect.

Oscar fought the best & always entertained fans, phenomenal technique, lighting quick hands, hard chin & mean AF. He’s a legend in the sport of boxing. We had some great parties 🎊 when he’s was the main event.
