The crazy thing about that fight is de la Hoya should have been dqd as his brother was up in the ring when de la Hoy was putting the finish of Vargas. I don’t think the camera showed it but I was at the fight and Robert Garcia was pissed. Vargas wouldn’t want to win that way. Naw Vargas talked alot which makes people not have sympathy for his losses. But in reality he was no punk because he was taking on people that had way more experience than him. Tito and Oscar had like a decade as pros whereas Vargas had 3 to 5 years of experience. He was moved up pretty fast man. What he should have did is not fight Tito but see Vargas was a throwback fighter. He didn't let the promotion get in the way and said bring it. He should have fought a guy from the top 10 mandatory for his belt and let Tito get a vacant belt. But he didn't.
