This is one of the better interviews I have seen in a wow. Very very refreshing hearing Oscar just speak his perspective of what HE felt. Mannnnnnnnn I wasn’t paying attention and had it playing in background. I had to rewind and really watch it. He didn’t disrespect Ryan in any way. Gave props to Tank. This was really good. I don't see anything wrong with what he just said. He just confirmed what everyone knew. He needs to take his training camps and fight preparation more seriously if he wants to beat the best. If he doesn't want to do it then that's fine, he can make enough money without being in the ring, but then he should be realistic with his possibilities when getting into a ring. When it comes to Canelo, I also agree with Óscar. Time waits for no man, he is still among the greats but past his prime

Everything that could've gone wrong for ryan went wrong. But in my opinion that was inexperience all around. Props to ryan to taking the fight but you have to be smarter in this business. Oscar de la Hoya from the beginning didn't want tank vs ryan. Oscar new ryan wasn't ready but ryan and his people were adamant about taking the fight. Ryan has to go back to the drawing board.

The weight drain wasn't a huge issue...ryan walks around at a little over 152 (from ryans own mouth). We saw tank get weighed before his training camp and he weighed 150 ish pounds. When the fight day came around and tank and ryan were weighed after the rehydration clause, they both weighed 144lbs, ryan weighed a little more. That is a very fair weight cut.
