Yeah it's funny how actors playing enemies often end up besties. Best known example was Judy Garland and Margaret Hamilton, who played Dorothy and the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz. Judy said in her autobiography that Margaret was the kindest person she had ever met and was more of a mother to her than her own mother ever was.
