Responsibility? - What does it actually mean? Does it mean 'duty' or is it possible that it may mean 'response-ability', the ability to respond to the present moment authentic, immediate? - Why not having a look what Osho has to say about this.
"Love is not a responsibility. Love is not a duty. Love is your joy. So out of your love do whatever you can do, but not out of your Christianity, not out of your ideology, not out of a sense of responsibility. Otherwise you will never be able to forgive your son, and neither your son will be able to forgive you ever. Duty is a four-letter dirty word. Never do anything for the sake of duty, because you are doing it reluctantly. And whomsoever you are doing, you are humiliating." -

@Halpa Halpa it was not negative publicity, it was reflection of your thoughts and how you view and interpret things. When i say 'you' i mean the people who didn't even understand him. Whenever you thought it was negative publicity, it was actually a powerful tool to disturb people and their dead mind, thus opening the way for new ideas and information 🙂 Osho very well knew how exactly he needed to express himself, he mastered himself in being himself, his existence ❤ that's what makes him truly enlightened !!!

For those who says he didn't answer the question. Here is my understanding. He says what is society without children and parents with their baggages. His answer is clear. He says there is no responsibility of society towards disadvantaged because the disadvantage is created by society at first place. Do everything in your individual capacity with love. The society would eventually ensure no one is crippled and disadvantaged. Start with your inner awakening, then everything will be okay. He indeed answered it with beautiful poem of Khalil Gibran.

Osho is not giving you the truth. You are the one recognising it when it is spoken to you because it is already within you. That is why it moves you so much. Realise what your true potential is! That has always been what the masters have pointed to.

@@mihaelaalbert3444 It means; every human on this Earth has their own path, by themselves, alone... and if you stand in someone's way, of their path, this can disrupt this person from what is already preordained for them, before they have met you. So if you truly care for someone, love someone, admire them... you step out of their way and say "Hello" or "Goodbye." With no attachments.

The leaders which you are talking about predict and beg others to follow them but they do not sucssed in that. But it is some thing else with OSHO, He always told" Do not follow me or anyone else" but still millions follow him, this is what i call amazing!

Living under such a stigma, the one of feeling like a burden, like one is only supported because someone else feels like it's plain duty (versus love) shouldn't exactly have the best of effects on anyone. And that is his whole point. I have only really come across Osho, but have to say that in this one statement he was very clear. People need to listen, not just hear.
