If this were made into a movie, this better be on the soundtrack. This song screams “fear of the beautiful unknown”. Like the wonder of the Scarlet Forest, but something could dive out of the trees and kill you. Truly a masterpiece.

Field of hopes and dreams is an amazing song and will always have a special place in my heart since it got me into Deltarune and Undertale in the first place(I absolutly love video game music) but a lot of people tend to overlook scarlet forest, which is pretty sad. It, too, is an amazing song with a certain atmosphere to it I havn't heard before.

To be able to create emotion and imagery in a single song, to make a masterpiece that takes you on a journey, through the far reaches of both the heart and mind? just try to study why certain artist use certain instruments and tempos to convey emotion theirs a lot of documentaries out there for it experience is the best teacher

@@niomet Same here, I'm around the same age and while I'm sure by now you have more experience, I will try to give some tidbits from my own experience in writing music. The instrumentation does help alot in conveying and dictating the type of mood a piece has. I would recommend physically writing down what instruments you think would evoke x feeling. If you have a notation program, or a DAW, you can have someone give feedback as you try out different things. If you want I can even give a link to a website that has some great methods that have helped me in writing my own music. It covers more than just instrumentation but I think that portion of it could help alot

Hoh-lee crap. This is wonderfully melancholy and ethereal. It makes me wonder how you'd improve on the stuff in Genshin Impact - which is a hell of a soundtrack in itself, but if anyone can improve on it without gilding the lily it's you. Magnificent.

This is truly beautiful. I imagine this playing as Kris and Susie return here in their second journey into the Dark World, with happy memories they made throughout. Susie became a changed person from her experience, once being the school bully (who was quite possibly poor), and now became a much kinder person. As for Kris's fate in this story... Well, we've yet to find that out.

I was expecting it to get old after a while, since it's 6 minutes repeating for 2 hours... But nope ! I don't know how, but this was incredibly nice to listen to for 2 hours. Thank you so much ! Side note : It reminds me a LOT of the BGM of the Ori games ! It sounds like it could fit right in-

Yeah, it would kind of fit in Ori. Probably the area in Inkwater Marsh where the song “Overlooking the Mill” would play, or when you go to Wellspring Glades.

I think the trick is to make the point where the song loops less clear so that you can't as easily notice when it happens, which is much more effective when the loop itself happens over a longer time.
