Such a religious experience to blast this on subwoofers in a big empty hallroom and dance like some kind of dervish. That, my friends, is how you find god.

Sick track. How would you differentiate DnB from jungle and breakcore? I can viscerally tell they are different but I can't point to the differences yet. Thank you!
@absurdsarchive2 жыл бұрын
Imo, besides samples and tempo, jungle has a very different sound to something like breakcore. There are almost certainly technicalities such as tempo and others that someone more familiar with the creation process could tell you, but I personally go by sound. Sometimes it's also pretty difficult to directly pinpoint a genre as they occasionally tend to all mesh together, artist tags also help a bunch.
@skybldev Жыл бұрын
Breakcore = Breaks + Hardcore basically you take drum breaks that are used a lot in DnB/jungle and chop them up really intricately, and use hardcore elements such as distorted bass, noise, really chopped up samples, and glitches for starters. breakcore can also be in the 200bpm range, way faster than DnB/jungle. also personally I think it has a more "raw and gritty" feel to it than DnB. the spectrum is really wide and there is a lot of overlap but those are some of the differences I notice
