One of the best and to the point tutorials I've seen yet. Thanks. Only comment I would offer is that when you mentioned changing the AWB, you really didn't walk the viewer to the steps to get there but that's small compared to all the pluses ya gave us. As a professional videographer having filmed over 1300 pro projects, I really never shoot in the flat profile. If I was making individual shots for a film maybe but generally, I try to get the look I'm looking for on set and even if grading is needed, seldom is it far from what I'm looking for and if a lot was need to get the creative look, I'd simply place a filter or mask over the shot to do just that. Thanks for the video, good stuff. Regarding the white balance setting - is that something you can keep at 5000k or whatever and edit the colour later, or is it important to set it right in camera? Thanks. EDIT: So I actually stopped being lazy and Googled it. Yeah, kind of what I thought actually - that unless the footage is uncompressed, there will be 'baked in' colour information that will be hard or impossible to correct properly. So yeah, answered my own question with the answer I thought it might be anyway :) Leaving this up just for others with the same query.

Hello to you. I'm a bike fan and I would appreciate your suggestion for the best settings on my Osmo Action. I already bought PolarPro Filters (CINEMS SERIES ND4 - ND8 ND16 and VIVID COLLECTION ND4/PL - ND8/PL - ND16/PL - ND32/PL - ND64/PL. I go fast on my bike and the surronding is changing at light speed. I tend to film in HD 1920 * 1080 60p in order to succeed in catching all those fast moving pixels. What would be your suggestion for the setting under sunlight changing to under trees. I use D-Cinelike - ISO 100 - Shutter speed 1/60 sec - White Balance 5500K - Dewarp ON and format Format .MOV. BUT I GET SO MANY MANY PIXELISATION. I do post editing with Apple Final Cut Pro. Guys its a action cam, the lens need to screw on, not magnetics. Do you warranty lost ND filters when they get nocked off?

Why can't you just ditch the magnetic system and opt for direct screw-in system. It is much more secure and worry-free. *Sigh
