Oh hey, it has BEEN A WHILE GODDAMN. But there's a new generation so I needed to be there. Read description PLOX!

Ok, first off:
If you subscribed because that Terraria video I did: Yes, i'm a brony, that's no secret. Yes, I'm an actual musician and I do pony music stuff. And yes, i will do more Terraria shitty acapellas in the future.
Back on topic: I enjoyed the new MLP movie! And I LOVED SUNNY SO MUCH.
To be honest I expected Izzy to be my favorite but I just felt more of a connection with Sunny, plus she's so precious and optimistic its contagious :D
Now on the soundtrack: I had no idea what exactly to expect. I knew it wouldn't be the same concept as G4 but still feel natural in a way. And it does! It's varied enough and I liked all the songs a lot, and since this one is the first in the movie it caught my attention and ideas started to flow.
So here it is! My version of Gonna Be My Day, unnecessarily metalized by yours truly, just like old times! I hope you enjoy :D
I'll see you guys soon…no promises, but i'll do my best to not disappear for a whole year again.

I love how this cover strikes a balance between the jumpy/fun nature of the original while being metalized enough to headbang to; with the guitar sometimes taking a backseat to the vocals and then coming out to be the driving force along with a solo. My hope for seeing this song get the metal treatment has been fulfilled. This is awesome.

Man thank you so much! I just really get into making the best arrangements I can uwu Btw what's your opinion on the drum sound? I tried a new kit and different mixing techniques owo

@@Osoch Drums sound pretty good! It has a good balance of punch yet not overpowering. The choice of samples sound great for your style too and the added arrangements feels like an extra flavor to the original drum parts. Also I freaking love the double bass part at the end. Those last choruses as a whole makes me think so much of DTP! on a personal nit pick maybe the cymbals are a tad too bright but everything else is nice!

Unnecessary? No. COMPLETELY necessary. This is fantastic! Love the sound, the guitar work, the drums... This is such a satisfying cover, and I appreciate you just taking the positive vibes of this song and letting it rip. Woo!

hey, this is really cool! you kept the same elements from the original that make the song good, and kinda replaced the cheery upbeat sound with metal, and still made it sound catchy and upbeat. good job!

This is pretty nice eventough I haven't been it the scene for a while. It still warms my heart that even the new G gets some love and it also seems that there's still enough OGs/newcomers to support some good ponymetal. :D Nice job man, nice job. :D

Ow yes you're back with a new MLP cover!! I'm happy that you're joining the band!! :D (reference intended haha) This cover is EPIC, quite stunning and creative!! And YES it was just the same for me, before the movie I had also thought maybe Izzy was gonna be my fav but after watching the movie I just know that Sunny is my fav for now, I can relate to her and her will to change the world SO much. Sunny is actually way more like Pinkie than Izzy, on the inside. Both want to spread love and happiness in the world..!! I shall walk in Sunny's hoofsteps and spread those messages in this world
