@@Katana-Karl is it tamahagane or folded steel? It looks fantastic! They seem to really knock it out of the park for a Chinese Japanese sword. I'm thinking I'd like to have one made JUST like this, or atleast very similar...was it easy to customize with them? Did you have a fair amount of options? What about it was made specifically for you? Haha I have so many questions I'd like to chat w you about. Looking forward to the video. Thanks Karl.

@@cooldaddyfunk no it is not tamahagene. It's folded T 10 I believe. This is not a customized piece. It was an "in stock" item. Although they did upgrade all the fittings free of charge. They will do customized pieces but the options are limited but higher quality than most other Chinese forges.

@@Katana-Karl the quality and polish is what REALLY stands out to me. That tanto is beautiful. They have a similar one on the site for about $400. looking for something quality to display with first and only sword. I don't even have a stand for it yet. Keep it in a safe but I'd like to not. Appreciate it and oil it often. I just got it a few weeks ago after a long wait. It was made in June 2000. Guy who sold it to me gave me about 3-400$ worth of sword books that I really appreciated! Apparently some of the musts haves. Iv learned alot. But not in use. I'd like to though. I collected custom folders forever, sold most towards the Nihontō. But yeah man same, been into weapons and Japanese culture my whole life! I coulda finally WENT to Japan! But I chose the katana first! 😅🙏💪
