This is a guide I've been meaning to make for a while. It should be an invaluable resource for you as you attempt to either get your first fire cape, or get a fire cape on an account such as a pure. Cem Tekin go to the settings and you’ll see an area with attack options, you’ll want to se the npc option to always left click

This is one of the hardest things I've done in a video game in 28 years of being alive. I'm still struggling when the healers come out. I have spent maybe 10 mil on this fight so far and still can't do it. Doesn't help that you can only do 1-2 attempts a day (or at least I can't). It's hard to remember that this cape was once reserved for the top tier combat players in OSRS, it's just that the game has been out so long you see everyone wearing it. To anyone struggling, don't give up. This isn't an easy thing to achieve.

Also there was a legal plug in for runelite that told you when you pray flick which basically made it impossible to fail. They removed it tho :(

It's so easy to make a mistake when you're freaking out. What helped a ton for me is always praying mage, and only briefly pray ranged when he stomps his feet on the ground. So much more room in your head when you only have to look out for 1 (very distinct) animation.

good tip. i agree. other guides say pray range because youll hear a sound effect for mage but it's all bs. i got completely robbed by relying on the sounds, maybe lag or something idk. prayed right prayer still died. the best way was easily praying mage and then switching to range if he slams, works every time and as you said clears your mind looking for just 1 thing

Took until my 3rd try to get it (first time people were trying to talk to me and I got distracted), both times I died when the healers showed up and I failed to focus enough on Jad. But I wanted to comment to tell you that I looked at multiple guides to get a feel for the caves, and this one was definitely my favorite. It made the first 62 waves an absolute breeze. Never even got close to dying or running out of supplies on any round, other than dying at Jad. Subscribed :D

Great guide and thank you I have finally done it. Even messed up a couple switches and got lucky. Something that helped me was saying out loud what animation I’m looking for to switch prayer. So if I was praying range I hover over mage and say out louD “looking for stand” and when praying mage I hover over range and say “looking for slam” Kept me focus on the animations and whether or not I needed to switch

Excellent video, I’m still amazed at how you stay calm during the fight. I’ve gotten to jad 6 times now, but always manage to feel like my heart is beating out of my chest and mess up. I’ll get the cape when I learn to remain calm.

Mygary my last attempt yesterday morning I got to the healers, but only used a blowpipe I got smacked by jad. I realized then I had way more supplies than necessary so I’ll add an xbow in my gear set for the next try. I spent almost an hour afterwards doing the jad trainer learning the flicks.

I've always postponed jad/fight cave because it seemed so difficult and I tend to struggle with pve such as Zulrah or Vorkath, but it went very smoothly (aside for the wave that I misclicked prayers and ended up with 1hp lmao). Took 5 tries (got to jad 3 times, 1st time i ran out of pots, 2nd time i tanked two hits, 3rd time i clutched it like a maniac) This guide helped a lot. Did only blowpipe with dragon darts for jad, never brewed once in the waves 1-62 except once before 63 to get hp up, learning to safespot and lure is SO GOD DAMN CRUCIAL TO SAVING POTS AND NOT TANKING ANYTHING. Thanks bro i wanted one since 2006 now i'm a BIG BOY Someday i'll get the inferno..........

i must say a good item to have was the holy wrench from rum deal, i got my prayer lvl to one where every pot i drank i got 2 extra prayer points from it, i end runs with half invents full of super restores and if i wanted to forgo prayer bonus in exchange for better armor i probably could do so without risking running out like in that first run (i had shitty stats tho 70 range 55 pray and used a dcb, still taught me loads about the caves)

@@_arkhea nice man, you should check out my video on pray flicking and start practicing 1-tick flicking, its a game changer dude, really cool mechanic and if you get it down you can conserve prayer points like crazy whether that be in the fight caves, inferno, or anything else in the game.

for those struggling with how safespots work, monsters will move diagonally until the southwest most tile occupied in their size grid is in line with you, then try to move horizontally. therefore, if you try to use a corner to safespot a monster that only needs to move east or north to get around the corner you're using, it will succeed in getting past your safespot attempt. if it needs to move west or south, it will only escape if you move too far out of line with the corner. there are other nuances such as the ones involving open spaces directly beside you and the monster getting stuck 45 degrees from you as it attempts to occupy them when its too big to fit, but that's not really important for fire cape. TLDR: visualize monsters in the single tile that is at the southwest corner they occupy.

I was struggling with the waves until I saw this video. You're not joking when you say "cheese it", knowing the rotations makes it so easy. The Jad fight took me a while but I finally got it last night and couldn't be happier. Best advice to anyone is get 2 Jad healers attacking you and go back to DPSing him. Cover prayers and you've got it.

Watched quite a few videos and felt good going into my first real fight cave run today. Always wanted a fire cape since rs2 days. Made it to wave 51 without knowing wave pattern or anything, needless to say a few mid clicks led to my demise. My next run will utilize all these tips and I feel much more confident. I have a feeling by my third trip and second jad encounter I’ll beat him. Fantastic video

Ok for any who need to hear this, it's as easy as it will get, BlowPipe or Poisoned Arrows, + chins, Fight Jad making sure your on an italy rock rotation, with Poisoned arrows or blow pipe, when the healers come out, switch to chins, then chin F out of them until they are all on you, now still keeping an eye on Jad, run around Italy Rock to safety, Prey melee and kill the healers, then let the Poison finish of the Jad! Enjoy your FireCape, yes Jad is Poison-able

If you're still struggling with prayer flicking search for a 100bpm metronome on youtube, have it playing in the background throughout the fight caves. Whenever you want to flick your prayers you need to double click on each tick of the metronome and you can click easily without much thought.

Wherever the orange level 360 spawns is where jad will spawn so at wave 62 make sure u run to the center to make sure u see where jad will spawn

I got the firecape on my main a year ago, but now Im going in with a slightly weaker HC Ironman. I didnt realize Magers could also Melee for over 50, so I died within melee range. Oops! Going back in tomorrow but this is a good refresher.

huge help is that when the third wave guy spawns, that will tell you where your jad spawn will be if the first 45 doesn’t spawn near the italy rock behind it leave until it does

For anyone out there that is scared of losing supplies, theres a 1to1 runescape fightcave simulator on the internet that helps alot. It doesn't have the healers during jad though, which is a big part of jad. I beat the simulator last night first try.

After the blowpipe nerf it's literally impossible to hit Jad even with bastion pots at lvl 75 range. So I like to bring a weapon switch, a rune cbow with diamond bolts (e) works really well.

Just got it on 2nd try. Had 8 supers and 6 brews leftover even! almost died on healers trying to tank them with 70 def, even with Verac's helm and skirt. took a deep breath at 20hp and spent the next like 5 Jad attacks just healing, super restore, and then taking out the healers one by one, no matter how long it took.

Yoo I finally did it! I’m not built for this kind of challenge but I persisted! At lvl 73 cb I just beat jad for my first time ever! 83 hp, 93 range, 52 pray. You’d think it’s easy but it took me 15+ tries. The healers were easier than I expected. I made it out with 14 leftover pots / brews. Waves 50-60 can be nerve racking but don’t get in your head about it. People say to take a break but that only seemed to psych me out more. Get through it quick, whether you fail or succeed it’s better to not waste time

Thanks for the guide and especially the rotation link of the caves Still took me 4 tries to beat jad just because first 3 times i went the dps setup and got scared/started pannicking when the healers started to kill me Last try i took bandos tasset and chest for crush defence and it was way more relaxive (Painfull thing was im lv 116 combat with 99 prayer so it should be so much more easy for me this made me realize how big of a noob i am in runescape xD) But still so proud of my very first fire cape

for anyone having trouble with the healers, tag them all at once, then as soon as jad hits you, pray melee and run thru him to the opposite side. all the healers won't be able to hit you and they won't be healing jad either
