I watched this guide over and over and finally attempted it. Completed it first try with a duration of 69 min. I sat in my chair shaking afterwards for a solid 10 min. the sweat was real.

You can also get there from the Tzhaar fightpits minigame teleport. The granite ring and Lumbridge ring are options for low levels over no ring at all.

Since nerves are absolutely the biggest killer in the fight caves, another tip I use is to take a break when you hit wave 62, it seriously helps relieve the tension built up over the previous waves.

FYI, I think the actual fastest teleport is the Fight Pits minigame teleport. the attempt before I finally beat Jad, I switched to a crossbow and had managed to safespot all of Jad's healers for the first time, but I had never heard the enchanted diamond bolt effect sound before, so I thought Jad was still getting healed. while i zoomed the camera to try and find the hidden healer, I missed a prayer. If only i followed your example and played with sounds off.

Food such as sea crabs heal 21 dark crabs heal 22 manta rays also heal 22 and some other goods where as sharks only heal 20 just a heads up minor difference as only 2 hp but might help if ur in a struggle edit they have divine bastions now

i'd Highly recommend bring several saradomin brews and super restores even with a toxic blow pipe, if you happen to get hit it's a necessary failsafe that could save your run!

On my first try i made it to Jad but died to the healers because i ran out of brews. It took me 2 hours 20 min to get to jad. Not mad tho because i tanked two jad hits. Also when i lost a iron man was outside who gave me advice i could use chins to tag all healers at once so at least im more prepared. My hands were shaking so hard when at Jad in fact it is still shaking when im typing this. Im gonna sleep and probably attempt tomorrow. Ok i will stop writing a essay now. Edit: Next attempt I killed jad. It took 2 hours 25 min. I was using a rune crossbow and full blessed d hide. I did this on mobile and this was my first firecape. Thx for the guide.

Almost got on first attempt, but then the oh so glorious system update came in right on time.

just did this with 78 range 73 defense after a few attempts. I would recommend bringing more dark crabs/manta rays than gnome suggests. I had 4 or 5 prayer potions leftover and no food. I think 10 food would be better.

Good luck to people doing this for the first time, biggest advice i can give is to just relax, there's enough time between Jad attacks to drink a pot or eat some food AND switch prayers, use F keys to switch between inventory and prayer book fast. ignore the people that say "Jad is so easy" because it almost certainly wasn't for everyone's first kill. it will become easy after you do it a few times, but those people are just misleading.

Great guide! One suggestion, for those struggling, it may be beneficial to bring some Saradomin brews for healing. Saradomin brews drain combat stats, so you must bring Super Restore potions to offset the stats drain, with a ratio of 3 brew doses eaten for every 1 super restore dose taken. Brews can also over-heal your health above max, and boosts your defence level also, which helps. The super restores can also substitute for prayer potions since they regenerate MORE prayer points than prayer potions, so they make up for taking a few brews instead of prayer pots. For those struggling to reach Tztok-Jad due to supplies running out, I highly suggest taking 6-9 brews and the rest super restores, with 2-3 ranging potions. Bastions and prayer potions aren’t required thanks to the brews and super restores, respectively. Good luck everyone! P.s. if you struggle to aggro the healers onto you so they stop healing Jad, bring a few red chins. You should be able to hit Jad with the Red Chinchompas, which will explode and do Area-of-Effect (AOE) damage, aggro’ing the healers all at once, super easily. You can then use the red chins to kill the healers faster, as it will do AOE damage to them, allowing you to get them out of the way and focusing on Jad much faster.

I would suggest this inv and build, but bring 1 sup restore and 1 sara brew for the Jad fight, just in case you mess up on prayer switch, you might be able to tank a hit or 2 if you have enough starting hp.

I did my frist attempt with full void and a blowpipe, with the same inventory set up shown in the video (prayer pots and 8 mantas), and ran out of food fairly early on. I had to keep waiting for my blowpipe specs to regen which took ages. Died at Jad because the healers slowly whittled me down. I think the total time was around 3 hours or so which I did over the course of a day. My second attempt used a RCB with granite shield, Verac's helm, skirt, and black d'hide body. Inven was 8 Sara brews, 12 super restores, 4 prayer pots with broad bolts and diamond bolt (e)s for the 360s and Jad. Took much less damage from the rangers and also quite little from the healers, though there were only 3 that spawned? Ended with at least 4 Sara brews and like 6 restores. Stats were 75 def, 77 range. Succeeded with a time of 2 hrs 10 minutes.

Subscribed, can you have multiple fire capes at once or you have to sacrifice them every single time if you want the pet?

How I did it first try: watch a KZfaq jad fight with sounds active, while watching it, change prayers accordingly on your real account, you will become used to the sounds of each attack. After doing this for 20 mins or so I don't even need to look at jad to know what to pray, and when he sometimes spawns out of render but still attacks you, knowing these sounds is the only way to stop being smacked by him with no chance of praying correctly.

What do you think of a low defense account bringing divine bastion instead of ranging pots? Also, what do you think of using Sara brew + resto sets instead of food? If you remove 8 sharks for 6 saras and 2 brews: 24 sara sips will only be worse than 8 sharks, if the account has 19 hp or less. And the higher the account's hp, the bigger this gap becomes, in favor of sara brews. Also, because you're adding 2 restos, and those restore prayer, you're basically adding 2 extra prayer pots, allowing you to be more generous with prayer usage. I had enough defense that I didn't have to care about bastions, and I had a lot of success with 2 sets of 3 brew + 1 resto. Obviously, a downside is that you're wiping your own boosts, but if you use non divine potions, or only use your combos after divines wear off, that's not as big of a deal.

9 times later and i still cant beat JAD lmao. its bc i only have 45 defence. You cant just tank the healers the healers are actually strong enough to kill you at 45 def. If you dont tank the healers your DPS is prolly not high enough to kill the healers fast enough youd be switching prayers for 15 minutes and the longer you do that the more likely youll mess up once or twice. I have 80 range and its a struggle. But the healers are the main problem because if you mess up the prayer once or twice along the healers hitting 14s on you regularly. Its basically impossible unless you've played this game religiously without taking breaks and have a high level account and are acustom to prayer flicking. If you aren't , avoid the fight caves it will most likely demotivate you from playing the game all together.
