Earlier in the song she mentions Peter who is gate-keeper of heaven, being on vacation. I think the main theme is that god has abandoned us (she also symbolizes this with the Lucifer is lonely line , The imagery is the one in which we have one angel and one devil on our shoulders, she is implying that god/angel has abandoned us, that is why she says, "my Lucifer is lonely"). After warning us multiple times to stop killing the earth, god abandons the human race "my turn to ignore ya", I think if bad people are allowed into heaven then heaven no longer exist. Therefore at this point, even the good girls would be also going to hell. She parallels this with adding that now that heave is out of sight, the human race will need the devil on their team.

I always thought that the "good girls" means that humans are just obediently silent and doing nothing to save the planet. So indirectly by doing nothing, they're just useless and making the world worse. They're dancing in the fire. Humans know the planet is getting destroyed, but we're still having fun, doing the same thing everyday like usual.

People dancing in fire; it's like everyone is ignoring the problems of the word, even if the world is burning around you / collapsing (the climate catastrophes, the injustice, how corporations destroy the planet just for profit/money, completely disregarding balance in nature - the oceans, the ice caps, the lakes, the rivers, the forests, etc.), we all just look away and have a party to distract us! As if someone else will fix it, as if it's not our problem. Just dance, entertain yourself, distract yourself. That's what I got from the "people dancing in fire" scene.
