No, my family were zoroastrian..we live in Yazd and didn't convert to islam

I've seen that Zoroastrian community in Yazd in a KZfaq documentary. I'm truly fascinated by ancient Persian culture and thus Zoroastrianism as well. I wish the coronavirus crisis would be over by the summer so that I would be able to travel again to Iran to explore Yazd and Shiraz.

Modern Ossetians have nothing with Alans. Since Ossetians are just Iranians, Persians like all the modern Tajiks. They speak same language and share common origins. Only Russian propaganda states that modern Ossetians are coming from Alans. Baseless. These Iranians/Tajik labour migrants came to Caucasus and worked for Georgians and some Ingush (Galgai) tribes. Ovsi is a name of one Ingush tribe. Ingush teip Aushevi is coming from Ovsi. Modern Osetians have nothing in common with ancient Ovsi.
