My favorite scene is when Seri got lost in the market after spending the afternoon with the town’s women. Because of power rationing, there was a black out in the market. Seri was momentarily stunned and can’t move, recalling a bad memory from her childhood. She was drowning in sorrow and obscurity, whilst people move about with ease around her in the dark. Then came Captain Ri... in his hand was a scented candle. He lit it and held it up high so that Seri can find her way back to him. The symbolism was perfectly executed. In the midst of a dark, chaotic world, there will always be that one person who will be our beacon. A person that is destined to be our better half. Love truly knows no distances, no boundaries and differences. And even though at times we give up on it, like Seri’s character did in the show, it still finds its way back in our lives and in our hearts, in the most unexpected of ways.❤️

My favorite scene is when capt RI and the squad suprised Seri's birthday.. That was the sadness scene..

My favorite scene is when Se-ri just woke in her long surgery and her mother said that Ri Jeong Hyeok will be sent at the line with his bois and Se-ri said she didn’t want Jeong Hyeok to know that she was in a long surgery but didn’t she know Jeong Hyeok is the one who watched her without a single sleep or eat..When Se-ri cried..I FRINKIN CRIED TOO!!AND THE SCENE I CRIED THE MOST IS THE PART THAT SE-RI AND RI JEONG HYEOK FACED IN THE LINE!!AAAA IN MY PILLOW CRYING ALL FRICKIN NIGHT!!!

Imagine living in a nation that lies after the boarder. But needs to fly as far as Switzerland, just to see and hold the one that you love. Imagine the struggle of trying to communicate from a nation that doesn't allow both outgoing and incoming from each other. Too near yet so far. Praying for reunification of both North and South Korea. As well as all the nations for a better world.

One of my favorite scene, among the whole story, is when Capt. Ri and Seri were drinking soju and Capt. Ri is confessing his feelings for Seri, His dreams to have a daughter that resembles Seri, teary-eyed, speaking his heart out deepest emotions that scene really is outstanding for me, It' simply amazing Capt. Ri's character bending his life-long conviction, breaking his own rules for Seri, a man like that deserves 101% Love-Back guarantee! LOL If in real life Yejin and Bin did not end up together, I am satisfied Seri and Capt. Ri had a happy ending.

The ending was really sad for dan.. hopefully she will find someone that can love her as much as she gives when she loves.. I know she won’t find anyone it said it in the movie.. life is just unfair especially how her soul mate died :( that’s why she’s not going to find anyone else her twin flame doesn’t exist in her life anymore.. may she live a happy life

The worst kind of love is longing. Being content with seeing the person you love only for two weeks is a lot more painful than never seeing each other.That way at least there wont be fear of the coming goodbye every time. Qu'est-ce que j'ai adoré cette série dramatique avec des acteurs au TOP, un jeu d'acteur extraordinaire, un texte très bien écrit...Le beau Hyeon Bin, acteur très classe, trop beau avec un charme fou. Tous les protagonistes on excella-ment joué. On sent bcp l'amour entre Se-ry et Ri mais aussi le pb de frontière qui peut séparer les gens. J''en ai ri, pleuré aussi...en fait j'ai adoré tous ces moments qu'ils ont partagé ensemble. Définitivement "I love u Mr RI"

This is my favorite kdramas so far. It is just too romantic. I can't get over the sad scenes I have cried way too much in this and I'm not regretting a single tear. This drama is the best one in my opinion. I recommend watching this. Im glad I watched this. My favorite parts was when they met each other, my other favorite parts were when they were both protecting each other from getting shot.. I really loved how they took care of each other and never gave up on each other. Last favorite part was when Captain ri stood by her side through all of her surgeries and how he stood there waiting for her to regain her consciousness 🤧🥺❤️. They were lucky 🍀 because of fate they were able to see each other multiple times ❤️. It broke my heart when captain ri had to go back to the North.. but i’m glad se-ri waited. ❤️❤️
