@JordanGlaubitz523 We all run snorkels which restricts air flow a bit and when we run a slip on it helps air flow, so they bring a/f ratios back near stock. If you run a full exhaust system, header pipes and all you will have to run a fuel programmer
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 11 жыл бұрын
They got great clearance and will work great with near stock sized tires, running larger mud tires they will break parts more often than other brands...just my .02

@Mr27bigred I had an '07 500 and it was a great machine, great starter quad, not tons of power compared to the Rotax's but enough, They changed a few things in the new ones but haven't read any bad reviews on them they should be good, the Canam 500's have more power but needs a clutch kit to give it the kick in the low end, you would not be disapointed with either

They are a very smooth riding tire that's a good all around performer, they do not do as well in the mud as the pure mud tires such as an outlaw or silverback, their tread spacing is too tight to really claw oput the mud and muskeg, but if you don't run crazy mud all the time they will suit you fine

@bworm989 27"s are good, 28"s are good only if you go with 9.5" Skinnies all around and the 29.5"s and 31"s are both excellent tires, most of our group runs 29.5"s or 31" Outlaws, we love them, A bunch of us are trying the new Outlaw 2's this spring, can't wait to get these tires in the deep skeg
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 11 жыл бұрын
Same size tires front and rear, and the Renegade and Outlander are almost identical except for the shocks, racks and plastics, just personal preference, the Renegade will have a more sporty feel and is clutched better stock

20099 was the first year of the R motor, but I would look for a 2010 or newer, they have power steering, qe visco lok, 650 watt magneto, all great upgrades

@turtleryan Yes he was running the 32.5" Mamba's....he broke so many parts running them that he now runs Zillas. The 32.5"s are 70 lbs per tire not counting the rim...lol, they have the ultimate grip and tread pattern but they are just too fricken heavy!!!
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 12 жыл бұрын
@tylermulek not really, alot of the trails are just wide enough for the atv's and sxs's. A truck even heavily modyfied one would have a tough time on these trails
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 11 жыл бұрын
The Renegade is easier to fit 29.5" or bigger tires on, but they are pretty much identical in performance as they are almost the exact same machine minus the plastics and shocks and no racks on the Gade
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 12 жыл бұрын
@TheMaxchart A few of us run them, they are a good tire, not as good in the thick stuff as an outlaw but a good light tire

For sure, with some winching here and there...as long as it didn't blow up it's belt
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 12 жыл бұрын
any quad that doesn't have their rad on the front rack can have issues with overheating....when the rad gets plugged it can't cool effectively and they overheat, the Renegades actually keep alot of the mud out of the rad with the way their front plastics are designed, but they can still plug and over heat
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 11 жыл бұрын
You would be winching constantly because you would be hung up, we usually don't have anyone come out without at least 28" tires. That way they can still have abit of fun rather then winching the entire time

@ostacruiser 11 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure at all on that...but we have a tough time of it with 82hp 4x4 Canams running 29.5" Outlaws. But everyone has to start somewhere. Just where we ride it's very high on the difficulty scale
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 12 жыл бұрын
@harley7114 All of us run 29.5, 30 and 31" tires with no lift and no axle issues what so ever, we just run spring spacers. I ran the BRP HPG shocks and HD springs up front on my 2010 with a 3/4" pipe spacer and nothing but cranked preload in the rear. Any type of lift puts the axles at an extreme angle which really affects their strength
@ostacruiser
@ostacruiser 11 жыл бұрын
Definitely look into Maxxis Zillas, better traction than mudlites but still very light and will not rob much power
@ostacruiser

@xXMuRd3rMuLiSh4Xx They are a decent tire, but they are outperformed in the skeg by quite a few other tires, silverbacks, outlaws,mambas to name a few

@jleighton94 The billet spring spacers are easier on everything, ball joints, a-arm bushings and axles, a bracket lift really changes the the angles on everthing, fine for pit racing but not reliable enough to be back in the bush all the time. Just my opinion though

@bworm989 Don't know much about the Brutes, but there are far better choices out there for tires, I would go with 27" Outlaws or 28" Zillas over the Mudzillas which are heavy and don't clkean out very well, I would also hold off on the lift if you are onlky running 27 or 28" tires, as the lift will put your axles at more of an angle making them weaker.
