Gait Assessment - Normal Gait and Common Abnormal Gaits

In this video, the stages of the normal gait will be reviewed. Then the common abnormal gaits that a therapist will see in the clinic will be demonstrated. These common abnormal gaits are including:
- Slap Gait / Steppage Gait
- Antalgic Gait
- Ataxic Gait (Wide base Gait)
- Parkinsonian Gait (Hypokinetic = Festinating Gait)
- Choreiform Gait (Hyperkinetic Gait)
- Trendelenburg Gait (Lurch)
- Hemiplegic Gait
- Diplegic Gait

It is awesome!!! I mean it! Finally, I saw the most complete and effective explanation of gait cycles and common abnormal gait. I would suggest this amazing helpful video to all PT and related field students. This much of proficiency in showing abnormal gaits illustrates a very accurate and expert observing of patients! I found this video very,very, informative, for a number of reasons, one being, that, I have not seen any other similar video, by anyone else, which makes this a very unique one !!! Furthermore,I found the language, and accent, very easy on my ears, altogether. it was a very well thought out, and well made video, keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for this walking exercises, I found out that I loose balance when I walk and swayed side to side and I also get cramps on my leg, so if I may ask, incase I practice this daily will I gain balance when I walk and also will I have a much more smother walking? Bcuz I walk alot and I'm beginning to find it hard to walk now, due to the problems listed above, thank u for listening. Will be expecting your reply,😊 any tips or exercises to do would help alot...
