Well, that's the rub, isn't it? Because they have an ant's perspective, a virtually amoral pov that justifies all their actions. HOWEVER, despite their ant nature being dominant, they actually are intelligent enough to be considered morally ignorant, disqualifying them for amoral perspectives and the allowances that come with it. At the end of the day, humans have every right to defend themselves, and the people they care about. Meanwhile, Meruem has no right to enforce his will on anyone--no matter how pure the intentions, or effective the methods.

Pitou estimated that Gon is as strong as the king, but if they ever fought, Mereum would still slaughter Gon, Mereum is a Genius, and can easily adapt to the situation, and don't forget his speed and high vulnerability..

Is this fact or an opinion? I don’t know if it’d be that straight forward. Gon’s speed increased with his transformation too. And he’s shown his wit in battle time and time again as well. Obviously we’ll never know the answer. And it’d have to be pre-buffed king (before he synthesized Pouf and Youpi). I don’t read the manga so it may be said somewhere the power level that Gon actually achieved. But I’d be willing to bet Gon leveled up past Netero, right?

Drew Clapsaddle i think its an opinion because we didnt saw what gon was capable of in this form. Even though i think meruem would have beaten gon pretty hard after all that strategy training he has done

Pitou took near to no damage from king’s tail swipe that was intended to kill her. Gon basically one shot killed pitou. Pitou is insanely fast, reached kite in mere seconds from kilometres away, yet gon didnt only evade her initial attack from a few metres easily ( right when he transformed), he also left the fucking room before she even realised. If anything, you are underestimating gon. Id say he is at least as fast as the king and even has more damage output - more than both the king and netero. King has durability on his side. Id say it could go either way - but id still give it to king. But i can see him losing that tail of his, maybe even an arm.

@@lornemalvo1661 true that but you also have to keep in mind, that the king while fighting netero didnt wanna kill him. When he is fighting for real with intent to kill and not only attacking "without strategy" after he got the power boost from inhereting pouf and youpi i think they are pretty equal maybe gon with a hight power output, but meruem with the better strats. Also meruem got to knuckle so fast he couldnt do anything

What do you mean Gon fight the King, Gon is dead... Not a Spoiler btw, Pitou said before dying that Gon exchange his ''life-force'' for this power and he will never used nen again. She/It said that she/it was glad that she/it is the one that Gon would kill with this power. Now that she/it is dead, you can say that he's pretty much... Gone 🤣

Spoiler: It was said that after that stunt, he was in a condition worse than death. He was straight up hurting soo much but he couldn't do anything about it until alluka healed him.

Its so hard to watch something shallow like my hero after something like HxH. HxH pretty much ruined Shonen for me, everything else gets dropped pretty fast. But hey its her Job, so she will watch everything.
