Why is it that bank robberies are taken very seriously and the robbers are arrested before you say jack. While the perpetrators of kidnappings and banditry are never caught or brought to book. A whole community would be sacked by bandits and hundreds killed in that process yet not one of the perpetrators would be found. Is it that kidnapping and banditry are safe havens for criminals?

Amen. Its very sad to see innocent family members in distress as victims of armed robbery. Its easy to obtain funding from loans Apps. With over 800 online loans to support the citizens, crimes keeps rising. Some of the armed robbers were killed in the process as well. It's suicidal, and depressing to ever attempt to rob your fellow citizens.

When will they arrest those criminals stealing the contraption money? Nigeria is in mess: loads of people are leaving the country because of hardship ( what the ile Ife people called ìlú tú), most of those that can not japa become thieves, ritualist or engage in prostitution yet the press did not come up with comprehensive reports on these. The police is treating the symptoms and not the disease itself and the journalists are not doing their jobs enough or maybe they don’t know what to do.

I'm really sorry about the sad incident that took place. To those that lost their loved ones, may God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss and to those that sustained varying degrees of injuries, I wish them speedy recovery. However, i noticed something about the scenery of Oturkpo, the town where this sad incident occurred, just look at the state of roads shown..Is the state governor not ashamed that such deplorable roads still exist in the twenty-first century? or are they happy plying through those deplorable roads? Could it be that there is a complete detachment between the political class and the rest of Nigerian populace? Sometimes i wonder if the ruling class in Nigeria actually know that they are there to govern and make amenities available to the people. Na wa o

Empathy is well said , the last comment gave me a grievance for the perpetuated acts of our state governors especially in Benue. Otukpo is a major town after Markudi and Gboko. But when you see wicked acts of leadership, you can begin to see trace of followers trying to embeb such too. You can't come to show empathy to the people you abandoned with poor roads and lack of access to utilities such as water. Then show you care when men of under world have come to steal from them when you where the first criminal to rob the people of social amineties and proper security. May the should of every lost during the incident rest in peace. I grieve for idoma land. If such menace of government anadonment continues
