I wish Kirrahe could be invited to the party in the Citadel DLC. I would so invite him.

Kirrahe was hilarious. A stalwart soldier but kind of a snarky guy. But i loved how he was always on Shepard's side. Kirrahe is the guy you want watching your back.

Mordin did actually meet Javik, and you're right he did want to experiment on him. Javik told him he could, if he could best Javik in combat. Mordin replied, "Problematic." And just walked away.

I always liked Kirrahe - he is basically Mass Effect's version of the Brigadier from Doctor Who. He cares about his troops, never has a bad word to say, became a loyal friend after the events of Virmire, pledges his full support in ME3 regardless of what you decide to do regarding the Salarians, is willing to throw his life away to save the councillor if needed, and is cool, calm, collected and even a bit sassy. If I could pick/choose existing characters to join me on the ship/become squad-mates, Kirrahe would have been selected after ME1 hands down. He'd not only provide subtle humour with his snarky professionalism, but would kick serious ass to boot.

Javik should be given Husk armor everytime Shepard wears the Collector one.

in early scripts of me3 Kirrahe was with Wrex considered to be part of shepard's squad if he survived Virmire like a "reward" for players who export his me1 save file, but for unknow reasons that no was possible, maybe for the few time they got to made the game

Kirrahe is the coolest squadmate that never was. he is like the amphibian version of Garrus.

In the first part of the mission on Virmire, make sure you do everything you can to help him & his team, so disrupt the Geth communications, destroy the satellite uplink, destroy the flyers near the fuel tanks & finally as you are about to enter the base & disable the alarms, make sure you disable the alarms so you fight more Geth, rather than sending the Geth to Kirrahe's location so you have less to fight. That is how you keep him alive. Hope that helps.

It's actually painfully obvious. Kirrahe specifically asks for help and drops huge ass hints as you progress in the mission. Plus, the objectives are marked on your map. Plus, your teammates make comments about it. Plus they're all in plain view and en route to the lab, aside from the Geth flyers, but that's still within eye-shot of the lab entrance. My friend, who didn't even know how to bring up the power wheel, saved Kirrahe his first go round, completely by accident.

The quiet look from Shepard at the end makes the humor that much more "lol".

he does try Javik says sure if Mordin could kill him first. Mordin backs off and says it's problematic. If you talk to Javik after obtaining mordin on the ship he says so.

Kiarrahe asks for help from Shepard by doing things along the way. So it is a little too obvious that whatever those things are at those alternate route that are in plain sight. If the players has no curiousity or the ability to explore places and got people killed, well suck to be them.

I doubt Bioware would accept that kind of payment..

Oddly enough I didn't encounter Kirrahee on this mission despite the fact that he survived in ME1. I did meet him briefly as he was fighting Cerberus but I never got a chance to talk to him.
