i remember in the 1st game thinking it was funny how sparingly you gathered things. you only needed to you only grabbed 2. maybe 3. now youre like the average human.... farm the material out of existence lol. does make me sade the animal and plant species we have farmed out of existence IRL. We are a silly species

when you done with this game you can watch the trailer; it is more fred time fun. now that you have completed the first game you can watch the 2 cinematic trailers for that game, one is the teaser trailer the other i think is the xbox launch trailer.

in the 1st game the scanner room came with 2 drones. i guess in theory you could cheese that and pocket the drones, deconstruct and get 2 more free drones? so now you have to craft them manually? weird change i mean if someone cheeses something who cares? its not like this is some online competitive game lol

Instead, you can use the Recyclotron to clone infinite batteries. There has to be a good market for that.

The drones were also quite redundant, many would just never use them and then they just ended up being permanent annoyances in the beacon list. So now, you can get them specifically if you want to instead of being kind of forced onto them. Of course, this also discourages their use, so I can't say this is a great design decision, but it's not unreasonable

I love Below Zero but the Spiral Plant clipping feels like one of the biggest screw jobs in any game I've ever played. I don't blame Oliver for making it extinct.

For what it's worth the spiral plants are also in the deep purple vents that he was so close multiple times to going to lol
