Chris talks us through a track day session he did at Oulton park where he got some instruction. He also gives us a few tips on what he has learned over the years doing track days and gives us an overview of his bike and what he has done to it. Chris has a lot of experiance on track and 2 years ago made the jump from an R6 track bike to his current ZX10. He has done quite a bit to the bike to make it a track only bike over his time with it so far and im sure he wil continue to tweak it. The bike has full Maxton susspension fitted and set up to Chris's weight and requirements and runs Dunlop slicks.

I’m 58 and have just discovered track days. What was I waiting for, pure adrenaline. If you love riding at pace cant recommend enough. Couldn’t agree more about thinking your fast on the road. On my first track day (in novice) I thought I would have a tap on the shoulder asking me to move up a group. Couldn’t be further from the truth. I was all out of control on corner entry and scaring the begeezes out of myself as I was tipping in. Just bought the Gen 4 S1000RR for 2022 and going smoother, going safer and going faster. For you guys out there on the fence, just do it.

Good video, attitude and advice. A “young” 52 here and finally made it a priority to set my first novice track day with a road bike in August (Oulton is closest ~2hrs). Lookin’ forward to it!
