Foretell is actually really good in wheels decks, it is very nice to be able to tuck a card away before wheeling, and saving it for later.

Thoughts on foretell: I think because there's a foretell counter spell, when you foretell something, it may lead your opponents to play around it, assuming that it's said counter spell.

then choose which spell you can live without and cast it hoping to draw it out. cowerdice will always lose

@@ElucidYT agreed! I don't think that's a bad thing at all. Forcing your opponents to rethink their plans because they think you MAY have a counter spell seems good, even if it's not a counter spell

the card that came right into my mind when I saw Tibalt's Trickery was Drannith Magistrate. it's way too good in decks like blood pod to not play it

Search for glory is a card that nobody seems to be talking about, it is amazing is decks that care about legends like kethis.

Search for Glory is in a really weird spot where it's really only good in certain decks, which is probably why it isn't being talked about too much. It came up while we were talking about this set, but for our decks it generally only hit Kiki and for just Kiki it probably isn't good enough

Kethis was the first deck I thought about when I saw this. Sadly I dont have my kethis anymore but that and 2/5c sissay are decks I thought this would be really good in.

On the topic of Foretell, I think that Dream Devourer has some merit. Giving every nonland card Foretell makes it impossible to predict what cards you have, and paying 2 mana upfront can be nice.

It's the same concept as trap cards in yugioh. I personally can see Ranar being fringe with his blink synergies but who knows

I'm super interested in Jorn and what impact he will have, as it makes it so your taking away you speed in untapped duels and requires for you to maybe sacrifice one part of thoracle for stasis locks. Im super interested in how it turns out. Love the content!

Magda really interests me. I've never really tapped into red, and I think I may do just that with her. I want to do big dumb dragons, but she can be upgraded down the line to focus more on artifacts.

In regards to Foretell, wouldn't dream devourer allow you to protect several of your key pieces? I agree overall most foretell would give away to much information but the demon would give you areas to protect from wheel locks as well.

I really like dream devourer in mono black especially. But could be really strong in wheel style decks. Hiding away your cards before wheeling to save em for later seems really cool

You missread tibalt' trickery. You mill at random of 1,2, or 3 cards, THEN exiles cards until its a nonland card. That one card is the target of free cast.
