As for stock/availability I plan to have multiple drops of the Mini Beekeeper in 2024 with much larger quantities than 2023. Everything is still made in house in Lubbock, Texas!

Wife got me the arc for Christmas I'm sold on it I've carried leathermans for 15 years and I've been sold since the first one I bought and that arc so far has reignited that original love for them I haven't green excited for since my first wave plus

I love that Zac picked the Victorinox Swiss Card as his multi-tool. I picked up the standard Swiss Card primarily for the scissors (the second most frequently used tool on my SAK). I realized that the handle profile on the “knife” matched the profile of my Zwilling Twin S nail clippers, so I modified the length of the slot to match the clippers. It’s a perfect combo and is the Nail Care Swiss Card that Victorinox should have made.

ican tell you guys right now, im a mechanic and my tried and true multitool was always the leatherman surge. i was looking into the arc for a while but i got it as a christmas gift. i gotta say, the arc absolutely amazed me. the tool kit is beyond perfect for everything i do. the micro screwdriver (on the flathead side) is perfect for lifting tabs on electrical connectors and the striking surface gets more use than it should. absolutely love the thing, now my surge can finally retire after being my main companion for a long time.

I recently picked up the Roxon S501 Knife/Scissors and it has really impressed me. Sure it doesn't have the most high-end steel, and it can only be carried tip down, but the tanto blade came sharp out of the box and has the most massive scissors I've seen on a knife/multitool. Plus, it was only a $23 gamble.

Yes please on the ARC mod! I had a '74 F250, swapped the 360 V8 for a 300HD in line 6, it came standard with the "grannie" 4 speed transmission, so essentially a 3 speed, with a really low gear to use if pulling a heavy trailer or attempting a pretty steep incline. The only thing power assist was the brakes, had a power boost, but everything else... manual. Really enjoy your content!

I own 2 Native 5 in Cruwear, and that ended my search for the perfect modern knife for me. That said, I'm 61 and have carried a SAK most of my life (10yrs.- till now). I own about 40 SAK . Nowadays I have begun buying on eBay older Camillus jack knives when they were made in the USA with carbon steel blades , and case middleman size pocket knives. I totally get the love for slip joints. Each of them is unique. Also own the Rough Rider barlow,canoe, and half hawk in carbon steel. 🦉

The Camillus linesman knife is a great carry . That knife ends up in my pocket so often, the screwdriver is really useful, it just seems to fit about everything around my house . I'm always hoping Fox does a modern version with some micarta or carbon scales . I'd like to hack some fat carbon onto it.

Great video. Cool to see you getting more into slipjoints Zac, definitely my favourite category of knives in 2023. My top three most carried where all slipjoints, the Manly Wasp, the Cold Steel Lucky (which I know you have one, maybe you should revisit it), and the Victorinox Ecoline Bantam, with 182, 122 and 104 times carried respectively (yup I kept count). I've got my eyes on the Spyderco Magnacut UKPK, the ANV Z050, the Fox Vulpis line, the Victorinox Pioneer X and Alox Bantam and maybe the Tactile Bexar. It seems manufacturers are picking up on the slipjoint trend, excited to see what new ones come out this year. On the Swisscard, I picked up a pair of the scissors, but I haven't worked out how to carry it yet. Not one for EDC fixed blades, but the Cold Steel Bird & Trout looks cool.

The reason I love this channel so much is I feel like it's more for the average Joe. Just the hardworking man/woman who wants good EDC gear at a price they can afford. This is not a slight at Best Damn EDC but his channel is harder to get into because everything he makes videos on and recommends is just too expensive, most of his videos are just pocket jewelry and things that are just not useful. I just feel like Zac gets more of the "everyday" aspect of EDC and knows his audience and I appreciate this channel! Much love to Zac and Taylor, I really enjoy both of their channels and appreciate them for opening my eyes more to EDC. :D

Gotta agree the Lander 2 is a beautiful thing. The Cubit is also a beautiful thing - cute little knife, with a beatiful profile. I bought one for my brother from another mother. Loving Knafs accessories - esepcially their strops I've bought 4 or 5 so far - some as gifts and a couple for different grades of diamond emulsion. And the tool taco is cool to put all those tools in - including their bit driver and ruler that I also have. I'd like to agree that the Worksharp Professional Adjust Sharpener is awesome - but Worksharp.... Really angry with Worksharp. They apparently "accidently" sent their Professional Adjust Sharpeners to Australia by sea instead of air. So the retailers are expecting them in August and advertise them as such - and some of us dummies pre paid on that basis. And here we are months later and the best info we can get is 'there might be some in the country "soon"'. Worksharp apparently can't tell their distributor/retailers when they will arrive. Apparently about 6 weeks ago they told the retailer the shipment was in Singapore- which is very close to Australia so god knows where the shipment has gone now. Leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. Their International Marketing Director tells me the shipping was "an error" but still won't/can't give a delivery date. So Worksharp may have a great product - but their service is terrible.

Idk where in Utah you are located but I recently moved to Utah, stationed at Hill AFB which is maybe like a 5 minute drive to Ben's Knafs shop. I primarily make fixed blades, kitchen knives, etc but hopefully will have a proto folder done in time for Blade Atlanta.

I had to fight to return my Shift because it was so gritty and impossible to deploy one-handed. They sent it back three time saying it was fine, but no one I handed it to could get it to deploy without two hands and even then it was a stretch. I wanted it to be good, but I was really disappointed. Hope this new version is better.

As a young boy, knife collector. I had slip joints, rusted, antique, garage sale knives. After nearly cutting off my finger at an early age, I try very hard to avoid slip joints. Of course, I'm probably not going to stab them into a tree, like I did at 9. I still prefer locking folders.

The replaceable hard wire cutters are not covered by Leatherman’s warranty. If they break it’s on you to replace them at your cost. They’re not expensive so it’s not a big deal.

When I was young boy, slip joint knives was all that was sold. So not my favorite at all. But I do carry a Swiss army tinker. Along with my automatic knife or button lock.

I wish they would have kept the old Wave can opener or just put a different tool. A chisel or a full 1/4 bit driver, or even a beefed up leatherman bit driver, instead of the can opener. I like to carry a Leatherman and a SAK. I love my Compact, Companion and Farmer X. My Ranger is a little to big for my pocket, so I am trying to find a belt pouch for it. Victorinox doesn't make it easy to find the right pouch for each of the knives. That's why I haven't carried the Ranger. The Victorinox Companion is my favorite pick for 2023, but with costom scales, definitely.

Victorinox Spirit X, Victorinox Explorer, Fenix flashlight, Bic Lighter, Knipex Cobra, Knipex Cobolt 160 (Knipex tools, can make you adictive to them, you've been warned). Pentel Kerry 0.5mm, are my edc gear. I once in awhile, edc a Kohinoor 5340, because it's the best pencil for sketching out there and the most versatile pencil you'd never thought it exists! THeir REd Chalk (Russet Sepia they call it, or their Dark Sepia leads, are great for urban sketching or generaly sketching from life!!! Hahnemuhle 120gr Sketchbook, works the best with chalk and Canson 180 Artbook, or Canson Universal, are the best sketchbooks for dry mediums. If there is anyone else, crazy about these, pelase leave a reply! It will help with my loneliness..

Thanks guys and also no thanks. You introduced me to Axial and due to that I bought one for $300.0 from them but when I tried to reach them via email no answer by them. So they fooled me once shame on them but if I ever buy anything from them definitely shame on me. As the song By the legendary The Who ' we won't be fooled again'. Sorry they lost a customer. I only buy from The Blade HQ. Fantastic people.

Your car setup is cool. Hope you have itemized list w/photos of all your tools and boxes for insurance purposes-snatch and grabber criminals are epidemic in Portland, Oregon. Never leave anything in my truck. It’s a shame.
