Welcome to the beginning of our journey in Alaska! The adventure starts by flying out of Seattle, WA into Anchorage, AK for picking up the keys to our new homes for the next 15 days. Our friends over at Alaska Overlander (4x4 rentals) helped to make this trip a reality by providing all the essentials needed to start our journey off right. It is from our initial introduction to Alaska that we bear witness to many of the beautiful landscapes both on the ground and in the air!

Your dad will be so happy that you fulfilled ur promise ❤ As a mom of two boys it’s so nice to see how much you love spending time with your mom .. life is precious… On another note I also follow Lifestyle Overland And they just completed their trip to Alaska They just used Nenana!! :)

It's always difficult losing someone in your life. We talked about doing this trip in Alaska for years and finally came into the ability for making it happen. Being able to carry out a loved one's wishes and remembering them in a positive healthy way means everything. I'm sure your dad is proud of you for carrying out his wishes and reflected back on all the memories together. Thank you for the support! Wishing you all the best in the new year!

I gave you accolades for your energies before- moving the cameras... But over this past year, I personally see your growth in your "work". How do you know which spots are ok to camp overnight? Do you use an app or website that tells you which area are not private property and ok to overland camp like that?

Gaia GPS will be your best friend when it comes to that info! You can use various layers such a public land vs. private, national forest roads, MVUM maps, etc. to help you know where legal dispersed camping is allowed. 👍
