My mom used Beautiful Feet with us over 16 yrs ago when I was homeschooled. We loved it. Now I'm using it with my children. It's a good product that stands the test of time.

I LOVE history - if I could teach one subject with my homeschooling this would be it! We do Story of World - and it is amazing!! This curriculum you use for History also look great Shauna!! We also do History two days a week - but of course if we had more time I would enjoy doing it every week day! 💙

We’re pairing beautiful feet with master books America’s story because of the worksheet issue. If master books would create a literature aspect to go with their history I would just get that. Or even a booklist to use at the library. Master books only seems to use books that they’ve published though which is disappointing.

I purchased the one from master books but for some reason I just didn’t want to start it, which is crazy because I love master books! I’m glad you were able to blend the two to make them work for your family 💕

We don’t use a history curriculum but we just use books and documentaries for history!!! We love rabbit tails!!! We are currently travelling to our new house and doing field trips we wasn’t able to do where we lived before!!! We discussed this when we did the units!!! We love natural and Biblical learning!!! We love taking learning at our pace and that may be slower, sometimes!!!

Hi! I'm late to the party but I really enjoyed this video. I have been debating on BF's Early American History for our upcoming year, for my 3rd grader and Kindergartener. Did you feel any concerns about anything being inappropriate or scary for the younger ones? Also, I have recently watched a HS review of BF history and one mom said she felt the "Child's first book of U.S. History" to be derogatory toward Native Americans. What are your thoughts on that book? Did you generally feel the curriculum provided a balance of differing perspectives?

Hi! I do feel like this set, the primary pack, provided a balance of differing opinions when it came to the Europeans and native Americans. We did not have that book in this pack. I believe it’s in the middle school set. I recently purchased that pack but it’s currently packed away (we’re in the middle of a move). If you email me then once I get it unpacked I can go through it real quick and maybe send you a few photos. I will say that when we went from their elementary to their middle school packs it was a big change. I didn’t find their primary pack scary at all but I will say my kids aren’t sensitive to things but I don’t recall anything that would make me put a disclaimer. My kids loved that curriculum as well me!

I have seen a lot of people in their parent group saying they just call in that case and ask how to customize it for the wide range of ages. They’re super nice when you call!

So far the ones we have watched have been mini documentaries and not cartoons. We haven’t finished the entire year though so I’m not sure if any upcoming videos have cartoons.

This video recommendation is garbage. I would never teach my child this nonsense. We haven't been on earth for millions of years, if he's lying about that then I don't trust anything else he is saying. Plus, the earth is flat. Think about it, we have zero actual pictures of the earth from space, they are ALL CGI, because space is not there. The Bible says God created a firmament over the earth. If the scientists are lying about evolution, and they're lying about the age of the earth, and they are lying about the human origin, why trust them about the shape of our earth that God says He stretched out like a tent to dwell in. And the Bible says the sun moves, just like with Joshua where it says the Sun stopped and the shadows went back some hours. That's not even possible if we lived on a spinning space rock. Genesis says that the sun and moon are lights in the firmament. They are lights, the sun isn't a star it's a light, and the moon is also its own light. So many things disprove a flying space rock earth. Guess this curriculum isn't for us after all.
