They get worked regularly and we'll feed and treated well. The bison know these people who interact with them. That makes a big difference from totally wild bison in the parks.

@ladyhawk5245 Dusty and his family have been loving on them daily since 2018 so they're nothing like wild buffalo but they're also not domesticated. I grew up on horses in the country riding everywhere instead of using a bicycle, western horse shows, did team penning in CA, and started a vegetable farm here in Maine in 1977, but wished I'd been raised on a ranch herding cattle, well now Bison 🦬

yes patience is always a key...whatever ya herding..even cats which i have done...as well as cattle, horses, goats, dogs. Buffalo sorta like wild cattle herd

Ty, for the camera on the Strawberry roan, i almost could feel the action of that well trained horse... Its been 4 decades sunce my actident that stop me from ever riding again... So now at almost 81,y.o. its was all so great to almost be doing that kind thing once again... Ty, bkess ya'll💕

Really enjoyed watching the video. Great to watch the bison and horses working together! Everybody communicating and great teamwork. Drone video was also good. As the herds grow, change has to come with it. You guys and the Boss Lady did a great job. It just maybe that they can't be all done in one day the first few times. Bison are used to Boss Man and Boss Lady on the farm. You may try inviting your cowboys over once a month or so, so the Bison will be used to all the horses being ridden in their pasture. What an adventure! Thanks for taking us along ❤

That red roan gelding is beautiful. Dusty has those bison so well trained, it is amazing. He can sense exactly what they are going to do if he sees one swerve to the right or left.

herding with horses...is the best... Marc and his roam...had me chuckling as he told him a couple times to behave..which to me meant..no bucking or stupid stuff...we got work to do. When they started calling for them to move on..only thing missing was the crack of a bullwhip!

Dusty you did a fantastic job of planning out the video coverage of this roundup. Loved the viewpoint from the go pro, (felt like I was right there), and the overhead drone footage. Every minute of this roundup was exciting. So much fun watching the horses and riders and, of course, the bison! 🦬🐎🐎🤠
