For those of you just joining us, welcome! We're Vic and Jo and we've been narrowboating around the UK for the last few years on our 54ft narrowboat Zero. Two years ago we decided to give up our jobs in the city and add another boat to our fleet in hope of turning it into a travelling cafe and becoming full time boating baristas.

The world is constantly changing. It is prophesied to be the most difficult times ahead. Ive been watching narrow boat live aboards for a couple of years now and notice fewer boats and lots of over grown tow paths and more hardship than in the past. This is happening world wide too. War torn Israel and Hamas with Palestine causing terrifying events. It's all happening and we all become changed. I understand why you needed a break from the life on the narrowboats. You plug away and give your genre to your vlog. It's different now, more serious, and you still reflect the truth of the situation. You do good works, you make it look easy. I say Bravo, please continue. Life still goes on. Best wishes from Arizona where difficult times have arrived on our own doorsteps too. ❤

Actually the biggest difference I have noticed in the vlogs since you moved to the house is the creativeness of your story telling and editing has really increased . You always have been very creative but it feels like you have a new burst of energy in your vlogs. We follow you because you are wonderful at telling stories and making us laugh . Boat , house , not important . It also gives me enthusiasm to be more creative with my content .❤

I love those commenters who have no content of their own and just want you to entertain them for free. Not only that, they want to share their negativity around. I am guessing they don't see what I see. A lovely family, a great sense of humour sharing their lives (ups and downs because life is like that). Just had a thought: When you changed your life style to boating, it was probably quite exciting because you were looking forward to the adventure but, moving shoresides from onboard must have been quite a wrench, a different lifestyle. Seeing the red hawthorn berries on the canal side. Usually a sign of a hard winter to come, you’ll be glad to be warm and in house cosy if so. WCL

Jo I just wanted to pass on my heartfelt thanks for sharing your baking knowledge in your cookbook which I am steadily working my way through. I have been a bit of baker for a few years since retiring with mixed results but your book has transformed me into a baking ninja! I think it's a little unfair to call people haters for saying the content was boring. Better that Vic knows why his ratings fall (if they do, of course) and is able to have a rethink. I adore this little family but the last couple of episodes have felt a little pointless.

We just love you all, so it's lovely to see you all enjoying life and Holly. I think it's the right thing to do to move into a house while William needs to go to school and socialise with other children, so getting glimpses of you all in your new life and returning to Holly as part of it, is just fabulous!❤
