I came out at 14 too,to my mom and I didn't give it much thought I just say it......and got rejected basically saying "there's no way I'm raising a gay child" while looking into my eyes and I literally cried for the rest of the night..so when I was able to date @16 I did what was normal and forced myself to date&have feelings for men Up til now at almost 25 I decided to stop living a lie and accept my true sexuality be myself...

I always wondered why adults do so much when people come out. 😭 it’s literally a regular relationship or interest, the only difference is that it’s the same sex. They dead a** be acting like they the one that gotta date the person. I really feel like coming out shouldn’t have to be questioned or made a big deal. 🙄🙄 I’m scared to do it, but I know it’ll be a big relief when I do 😩

I came out when I was 25 currently 44. I came out to my family before I started dating anyone because I didn’t want my family to think I wasn’t sure. My current relationship we just had our 9th anniversary so lesbian relationships can last. 💜🌈

I made 5 months yesterday. I wish I could come out to my parents but they’re Dominican, and they’re not understanding at all. Especially my dad. Late bloomer here. I told my mom when I was younger and she said “yeah I already know” I was like “no I’m just joking”, she was like “no, you’re gay. I been knew”. For some reason I didn’t want to fully accept that I was full on gay and continued to date men but realized that they all were very feminine and that I truly didn’t care about them, they were just easy. 😅 my dad still don’t believe me so I remind him every couple months.
