I think buddy (technical term *nods convincingly*), has been repressing some things, might be their sexuality, or their own need for attention, etc, and for whatever reason Tanner’s authenticity is cutting through their resolve/armor. There is a jealousy there I think, how is it Tanner can be so rude/flamboyant/etc?
