I don't understand it either. My son has been maths obsessed since he was 6 months old. 5 little ducks was his go to song at 6 months he'd put each of my fingers up and down to each number. I didn't want to let him have a tablet but at 2 he became obsessed with my phone whwb out and about to keep him occupied. Got him his own tablet at 3 by the time he was 4 he counted to 100 in French and Spanish and also 50 in Urdu. By 5 he learnt all the numbers possible, pi, timetables, how to divide ect All because of KZfaq!! Although if you ask him the French Spanish and Urdu numbers now at 8 he say I don't know 🤣 I think if it's helping your children learn then why not plus the future is computers ecy

They’re helpful when used responsibly IMO 🤷🏻‍♀️ My situation is definitely different, I wasn’t even thinking of these item at that point (still very young, didn’t cross my mind) but iPad and handheld games console helped … My son has adhd, my sons consultant suggested I get an iPad or small handheld games console (my son also diagnosed with bilateral hydronephrosis - a kidney condition for both jiggers when still in my womb) so lots of hospital time, sometimes weeks, normal frequent appointments that took an hour travel each way plus 4-5 hours waiting and appointment time, plus emergencies minimum days, plus surgeries. The car/travel DVD player was a godsend when little 🙌🏻. Then diagnosed late for adhd because they didn’t tell me but it was in his file 🤦🏻‍♀️ anyway, that’s when consultant suggested an iPad or handheld console … with headphones to block out too much going on around him … perfect! Used it when bored but couldn’t run about, or when I had appointments and he was with her (I had no one to help), so I’d mix that up with him getting e Wth your at the park every day (aslong not completely chucking it down).
