Ah, I actually drove past this place a few weeks ago when I was back in the UK and got such a fright - I had no idea it is where it is! It looks absolutely fantastic - how was the average age, out of curiosity?

Went there for a week there during the first week it opened in 2022 and little was finished. No theatre, no recreation facilities, no pool, no bike hire, no archery, no rifle shooting, no target golf and the third restaurant not open in the mansion. The grounds were incredible, Being set in the centre of an International 18 hole golf course, we walked a couple of fairways every day and collected a load of golf balls. The pub restaurant that you used did not change the menu, so was the same every night, which we complained about, saying that even pubs have nightly specials. It does look like the menu has improved, because there was no steak on our menu. We ordered and paid for liqueur coffees, but they had no cream to top them with and that was the same for 5 days. The driveway from the mansion to the road is 1 mile long. The hotel has NO postage collection, so if you want to post a card without using your car, you have to walk 2 miles to the village and back. The accommodation was superb, but having facilities of restaurants and bars on different levels was only good for the able bodied, because to use the lift, one had to walk through the accommodation block each time to get to the lift. Warners did give us a rebate of one third of the holiday price for our inconvenience.

Says on the website to get travel insurance that covers the different activities would you mind me asking what company you went with?
