A little about us
Our names are Emma and Adam and we are originally from Liverpool, UK. We are now emigrating to Zakynthos, Greece where we will be based there full time with our 2 cats! We are in our late 30s and early 40s and come from an entertainment based background. We caught the travelling bug years ago after working onboard cruise ships and travelling the world for our jobs. Although we are pretty well travelled and accustomed to life abroad there are loads of places still on our bucket list and we plan to spend our 30’s and 40’s getting there!
We run a media/content business providing Videography services for commercial and also weddings on the island of Zante.

Taxes are the main reason prices are so high here in Greece. For the paperwork, it is said that government tries to digitalize the system but the truth is that all the paperwork just digitalized and did not decreased. Greece has very good life, cities (even the small ones), are full of life even at late night but if you want to have money and secure your future for bad times here it's not the best country to do it. Hope my english are not that bad. Have a good life here in our country!

Really appreciate your vlogs. I'm married to a Greek, living in Manchester and looking to make the move to Thessaloniki March/April 2024. We're also planning to drive over as we have a dog and dont want her to experience the stress of flying. I wish you every blessing in your adventures. Thanks again!!

Food prices have exploded in the past couple of years. I went back to GR a few months ago and was absolutely shocked.

Hello! Ahhhh thanks. We have settled down in Kalamaki and we love it. To be honest we didn't really have an idea of where we wanted in mind, we got extremely lucky when this apartment came up for rent. Kalamaki is proving to be a great choice for us so far!

Retuned from Zakynthos last week. Yes it was a holiday. Yes the locals work their arses off in the tourist season, but hey what a more relaxed place to have to grind a living! Loved the lidl on the island. Agree, prices on par with rip off U.K., but quality of food soooo much higher! Just need to learn the language now and get my arse out of the rapidly declining U.K.. Great informative videos! Thanks

Of course emma is cold at night 😂 apparently its been non stop raining in Spain so must be climate change. Good luck witht he drive to Thailand hahahaha
