Would you travel to the other side of the world for noodles? Well... we did!
In this video, we finally make it to Wuhan to try one of our favourite noodles in China. Whilst we were in Wuhan we thought we should squeeze in seeing some sites and not just eating noodles all day. So, this is our first impressions of Wuhan.

As a Wuhaner, I've never visited the Yellow Crane Tower again after it started charging since the 90s. Its a re-build and all authentic works in that tower were burned to ash already. Instead, I'd recommand the East Lake and Mo-Mountain resorts, which is totally free but unique in urban area.

The reason why Chinese like Huang He Lou (The tower) is mainly due to its deep root in Chinese literature/poems/, to an extent it become part of the culture maybe. So if a foreigner without such backgrounds, it is unlikely they would enjoy as much as Chinese do. For example, at least 50% knows the famous poetry, 故人西辞黄鹤楼（last three characters means the tower）, 烟花三月下扬州，孤帆远影碧空尽，唯见长江天际流。It was written in 730 AD, it is a poerry about Spring, friendship, farewell, and . By visiting this place, those Chinese with these poetry background knowledge feel deeply connected to its past and its ancient culture. But for someone without such a background, yes, it is just a tower.

strongly recommend go to the 东湖公园 and bike there, you will not regret! must go there in the early morning when it is not so hot! you can also have local dishes at 小明大排档, totally affordable and typical wuhan vibe!

黄鹤楼票价真的有点太贵了。I am a local wuhanese, the yellow crane tower is really pricy for 70yuan. And it's not a must do that I'll recommend for foreign tourist

The people were super friendly in Wuhan, especially at the tower we didn't have a moment to ourselves. No we went back in the Autumn for 6 weeks and have been releasing videos since then. But... this week will be our last video then we will have ran out of content, unfortunately. We had hoped to go back in the spring but it didn't happen.

To go into the Yellowcrane Tower used to be free in the past. And I had been there twice, the first being in 1987 and another some12 years ago!

I appreciate your honesty. The Yellow Crane Tower is a modern man-made attraction. The original tower from ancient times has long been destroyed, and the current structure was rebuilt using steel and concrete in 1985.

Haha,This is my hometown,As a local I never been to the huang he tower😂,local not recommend it, although it is icon,lots of retired people went there I recommend 1 Han kou li 汉口里 which there are lots of traditional building and foods,can wear traditional dress there 2 Hu bei province museum 3 Chu he han jie 楚河汉街❤ 2

Though gotta say 70rmb is like 9.66usd, which isnt thaaat expensive. The thing is once you get used to China cheap prices suddenly getting charged 70rmb for something sounds a bit tough hahaha.

Yeah in comparison to other things in China I think it is pricy. The Forbidden City is only ¥40 and is a much larger complex.

@@Nicofilms Im thinking maybe it also has to do with the volume of people. For instance Wuhan wont receive as many tourists as the one in Beijing so it makes sense.

Oh yeah the UK is a lot more expensive generally but I am comparing this with other attractions in China. The Forbidden City for example is only ¥40 and is a huge complex so I think the price is quite high in comparison.

作为武汉人，很高兴看到你们的视频，也欢迎你们来到我的家乡~！~这里解释一下，“过”这个字在中文里一般连着新年、节日，武汉人把“过”字连着早餐，说明武汉人对早餐是非常重视的，甚至是带着敬畏的~！~！武汉人吃早餐是很讲究的，哪家早餐店的什么东西是自己喜欢吃的，只会单独点，需要搭配再去其他早餐店买其他小吃，比如你们吃的赵师傅热干面馆，它家只有糯米包烧麦好吃，它家热干面在武汉属于非常非常普通的，所以武汉人一般只会买它家的糯米包烧麦，它家热干面大多数情况下都是卖给外地和外国游客了~！~！
