Judging from the album version to the live version. This is one of the baddest fucking vocal performances ever, this woman is a beast on the microphone and that crypt resurrection thing she did at the end made the hair stand up on my neck. I was literally scared and then the powerful stance she took at the end was just mind blowing. What an amazing performance by the entire group, what a woman!! Just had me the whole time and my love your feedback on this! Jinjer is absolutely the king of heavy melodic metal. So powerful!

Great reaction! Since she asked, Tatiana can both sing and growl. Growling is a vocal technique where you don't use your vocal chords, but instead the tissues above them in your throat (known as the false chords) this creates the different sound. It's a very difficult technique to master and you can damage your voice if you do it wrong. It takes years of practice and she is one of the best. Typically men are known for better growling, but Tatiana is a true master. I hope this helps. Keep these coming!

Tatiana Schmayluk is an absolute master of the transition between false vocal folds & vocal chords. She can use a true vocal fry in the transitions but very momentarily because it's potentially quite damaging to sing in true fry for long. So she's focused on making the absolute emotional most of those fry transitions.

So the two styles are called clean(her regular voice) and then there is her growls. She is doing the growls herself, there is no effect from amp.
