Great reaction. Another vote here for Vortex. Some very cleaver writing where they use a musical motif that sounds like it is just repeated but they slightly change the instrumentation each time. Also you, will hear the Gwen Steffani influence on Tatiana and the drums are pretty special. Finally you will hear her low growls at the end. Can you also add Roundabout by Yes and Xanadu by Rush to the list.

Missed opportunity to throw in lainnereP which is a stripped down, mostly instrumental version with piano. Yes they use backing tracks and she is harmonizing with another layer of her own vocals. They also use it at the intro for the spoken part in this performance, which they have since stopped doing.

Definitely using some tracks here. But I've noticed in more recent live videos that they seem to have dropped the tracks and just go live the 4 of them. Check out the ARTE live they did during the pandemic shortly after their latest album came out, really impressive.

Interestingly the layers here weren't in the bootlegs from the show. Some of their songs (especially most performances of Retrospection I've seen bootlegs of but not the live in Melbourne version, and "Too Traumatic" in Vortex) do have some use of backing tracks but it's usually some overt composition choice.
