We spent three days in the amazing Lisbon, Portugal. We walked across the Lisbon, eating food such as the famous octupus hotdog at the Time Out Market located in the food hall Mercado da Ribeira.
We also took a day tour up to the incredible Pena Palace in Sintra.
One of the highlights of Lisbon are the trams in Bairro Alto, and the historic Alfama district.

About the statue of the king in Praça do Comércio (a.k.a. Terreiro do Paço), you got your History mixed up... The statue is of king D. José, the monarch who oversaw the reconstruction of Lisbon after the 1755 earthquake. He was not murdered. He died in Sintra, on his deathbed, in 1777. There was a king murdered in Praça do Comércio, or rather at the corner with Rua do Arsenal, but that was D. Carlos, in 1908. There is no statue of him.

What a nice video. After watching, Portugal should indeed become one of our future vacation destinations. Glad to see that Julia was more involved in this video as you both are naturals at this. I was in the army with a friend named Gino from Lisbon as they moved to the states and he told me if I like seafood this is the place to come to. Saint George`s castle, yes ??, but please learn a bit mor Lisbon is not Los Angeles it`s a city with thousands of years with historic references from the XII century B.C. @@EvanThomas Well, the nonchalant / disinterested / meh attitude throughout the whole video, for example 7:06, you're surrounded by one of the most unique buildings in the world for multiple reasons and she's on the phone and reacts like that. Fair enough, could be a one off thing but the attitude, seems to me, is the same throughout. It's like you guys going through a check list, ok we got to check this building, this thing and that place, just say a sentence for each, pop some cool vibes song in the background and lets get this over with. However, it might just be me who thinks this because i love history and i go nuts visiting places like those in other countries. Having said that, you're both quite beautiful so you could just go to beaches around the world and instantly get tons of views. Otherwise, if you guys dial up the energy and show a bit more engagement you could very easily get millions to watch you. Finally, i could just be wrong... seen too many series and movies and the most attractive people are usually the villains, hehe, all the best for both and don't forget you're living the dream. 0:41 Right at the beginning, a historical error... The statue is that of D. José I, he lived in the mid-18th century and was not murdered. The Portuguese king assassinated in 1908 was D. Carlos I.

I must say, your girlfriend knows how to pick food! I can't even look at octopus anymore. But hey, if you can and you like it, nothing wrong with that! Hope you don't start eating cooked snails too like some locals here do... I have faith in you dude! ahaha Seen some comments here about the intro of your video... I thought it was adorable! I'm sure the guy takes care of the dog and if not, Portuguese people help. We don't spoil animals like Americans, who turn them into fat lazy fur balls. The dog seemed fine without any signs of mistreatment or abuse. He was just biting a wire... You know... Like all dogs do!!! There are some people who are just ultra sensitive/sanitized snow flakes with nothing better to do in their lifes. Grow a pair and a brain! I am spanish so not impartial. Love Lisboa and its light and algarve and its beaches but spain is bigger and you can find more different cultures and architecture... no comparation with Granada Sevilla or Cordoba in my opinion
