Heyy 🙃 what it do. The people like authenticity, so this is only the beginning for this channel. The more this channel grows the louder the message of fostering is. Can you imagine if this channel was as popular as some other vlogging channels? It would have the potential to change the foster care system. I know for a fact these videos have added to my life and encourage me to consider fostering. So if they want to have ads so they can in turn make this content I hope they get even more sponsorships. #BeTheVillage

I think most teens think these things of their parents at some point. I think it proves you’re doing a good job because she’s a happy, typical teen. It’s really nice that she was comfortable enough to make the list. Some teenagers keep stuff all bottled up and wouldn’t want to do this activity. I think you guys have great communication which is an important part of any family. Best wishes.

I think “perfect” parents/foster parents aren’t ones that get it right every time, all the time, but are willing to adapt, communicate, comfort, and support the children they care for. It’s so evident that you two do all of that and more for the children in your care.

I totally get the smiling issue. I also have a more serious demeanor and it’s so annoying when people tell me to smile when I’m perfectly happy. It’s ok to be serious and introspective. Doesn’t mean I’m sad, just means my brilliant mind is working overtime! I have a downturned mouth. It’s a genetic trait. My grandfather was the calmest, happiest person, and always had a downturned mouth. But the eyes were twinkling! Look at her eyes to get a better gauge of her feelings, rather then her face. Eyes don’t lie

This was such a wonderful video! I literally had tears in my eyes at the end when she spoke about you guys not always recognizing how awesome you are. She did such a great job of articulating her feedback in this list and it was beautiful because it shows how safe she must feel with you that she is able to share these things and roast you a little bit and still know the relationship is strong and loving and can endure it. Her being able to let you know about how her position on the couch can indicate how comfortable she's feeling etc - so helpful! Also at the end when she went to get water, that made me smile. Such a great family, all of you - showing that we don't have to be perfect, we just have to do our best and be honest and make space for each other to express ourselves :)

I'm 25, I'm married and my dad still tells me to smile and my husband can't talk to me in the morning before I have breakfast and like...45 minutes after I wake up 😂 You are great parents. Parents aren't meant to be best friends, you need to set boundaries, and you'll run out of patience sometimes, you may yell at some point. As long as you say: "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done X. I'm tired, but that's not an excuse to yell at you", Miss A will be learning about true love!!!! Best wishes and Merry Christmas!

So I cried again this is so cute. I love that she knew that you would wanna hug her because she said you were awsome she knows the love you have for her. Working in child care I've had a kid that every teacher labelled difficult in fairness he had a rough home life and often after our interesctions I'd cry when he tells me how things are at home never in front of him but it tugged at your heart as from day one he just wanted me to just find him difficult and move on little did he know I like a challenge well months down the line after having a really rough day guess who he asked for me I don't think we had even given each other a high 5 before and we talked and he calmed down and he asked for a hug well I of course melted ...... I completely got sidetracked lol you guys are doing awsome even Miss. A says it so keep up the good work
