This is a long detailed video. Trouble shooting and fixing a GEVI household countertop nugget ice maker v2.0. that decided leak from an obscure place.

Thanks for the detailed video! I even went a step further and drilled a few small holes in the bottom portion of the cover, so if an water did get past my silicone seal job, it would drain back into the bin.

That crossed my mind as well, but I could not figure out a way to clean that space. Need to remember this is an ice machine and mold is a an issue on any ice machine that is not inclosed in a freezer.

Thank you so much for making this video and your prior one showing how to replace the pump. I just ordered a Vevor ice machine that is pretty much identical to the Gevi and will now know how to replace the water pump and fix the leak if it happens

Thank you for the video! My Gevi just started leaking after a cleaning cycle (I’ve had it about a year and have cleaned it multiple times). I’m ordering food grade silicone now.

I recommend you check for leaking hoses before jumping to what was wrong with mine. Work form bottom to top to find where the leak comes from. Good Luck

Where did you get that hook for the scooper? Was looking for one but i can't find it. Thanks in advance - Andy

It is a 3M command strip I purchased at a hardware store or Walmart. I did have to drill out the hole in the scoop for it to fit, but it works great. I never did like laying the scoop down or leaving it in the machine.
