Crazy weather... We haven't had rain for a few days, but the 20° nights and 40° days are keeping the lot wet! Frost brings the moisture up, then it thaws 🙄 Lots of ice all night for the cows to walk on. Don't recall any abortions from ice, fighting or getting banged into a post, but have had them from white mold in the feed. A little higher ground would be nice, but yup... $$$$

Your replacement heifers look really nice! Having options to move them to would sure be nice. Looking at those calf sheds made my back hurt just thinking about having to shovel all that snow!

Hi Greg! Say, have you got a two stage snowblower like a 24 inch or 26 inch snowblower? (a walk behind) You could almost get the snowblower in there and make moving snow a lot easier… Just thought I’d run that by you! 😃😎
