Brian, although I’m a number of years older than you, I always love your song of the day! Unlike me, my Ex listened to music every waking hour that he was able, so I learned to appreciate the classics through him. My two sons and music were his greatest contributions to our 25 years together. I can’t wait for the calves!

Loved the over-head shot of the hay un-loading”! Looks like the JD wheel-loader was a wise addition to the team! Much more you’ll have to add a traffic control officer! You should know, contractors love to hire “farm kids” for heavy equipment operators, because they have been around machinery for most of their lives. Bet Cole would be a dandy!

Cole is getting so he is doing better at not grinding gets when he drives the semi that needs to be shifted all the time. I don't how much shifting of gears Is involved in some of those construction cranes, bulldozers & such. We have an 85 year old semi truck & he says they have automatics now, so not a whole lot of shifting. He was making 2 trips a day taking Leachet from a sewer processing plant 200+ miles each way every day. Since he turned 85, they cut him back to 1 trip a day. You 'd think he was 65 - 70 by his looks. Full head of beautiful white hair & hardly a wrinkle on his face.

Wow I have seen over just the few years I have been watching, back when you were just starting you were under 50,000 subs and at one point you were doing a give away of a old tractor I think to try and get you to 100,000 subs ,I have seen bgg your dad buy new equipment ,I think he is addicated to new equipment and that helps you do your job better and more efficient, safer must be a great place to be in life after years and years of hard and lean times which he was able to survive and grow to having which must be one of the finest well run farms in South Dakota or probably within a thousand miles ,he and your family must be so proud to have him as your father and you Cole are a fine son and iam sure you dont take him and your farm for granted ,I just needed to say these to things to your dad and you after watching you for years now ,iam 68 and retired in 2017 after 40 years working in a Public Works Dept here in LA county, and now dreaming that I could have lived as a farmer or just on a small ranch somewhere, that's why I enjoy watching you so thank you for that and tell your dad and give him a hug from me that he is a great husband and father that was able to do things great for his family and hopefully for 100 years of future generations and Cole I hope you will continue to have a great farm and make your kids proud also someday GOD BLESS THE ENTIRE FAMILY FROM ROGER

WOW!! That was a busy day!! Bug you guys pulled it off! And quite well I might add Impressive. It is truly amazing the amount of setup/tear down, configure/reconfigure, that goes on there. All geared to the seasons and the timing of the animals!! And then the seasons go haywire and mess it all up. Thanks for the look inside your operation. Ya make it look too easy. ALMOST makes me think I could do it myself. But I know better. But I certainly enjoy watching YOU do it.

Is city slickers calling it cleaving. That or being funny. We always called it calving when our black Angus were having their calves. Never had a set of twins. Had 2 baldies 1 years. A heirford bull got in & bred 2 of our heifers up on the govt pasture lands where dad took some of the herd each spring - fall. Sure was a surprise to go out & find baby calves with white faces on them. They sure were cute. Dad wasn't too thrilled when he got home & we told him we had a white face calf in the shed.

I have bought several simi loads of big square bales. At times it makes me wonder why I was beating my head against the wall when you could but great hay from them every time. Their I am trying to make good hay try to second guess the weather and getting the help rounded up all to have it go south because the sun went behind the clouds. Some times I wonder. Then I’m a farmer. That’s the way we are. That is all I have to say about that. 😂😢😊
